Do I use soap

I just read this article that said if you are uncut you shouldn’t be using soap under the foreskin.

I need to clean my foreskin, because if I don’t it starts to smell funky lol

If I shouldn’t be using soap, what should I use?

Umm I’ve used soap my whole life and I’ve never had a problem

When I was still uncut, I would just use bath soap and water but I never cleaned up the glans because my foreskin was tight at that time. So basically, the funky smell due to the build up of smegma is something inevitable for me. It’s kinda weird but sometimes I miss the smegma and wish that I haven’t got circumcised.

I guess it would depend on how tight your foreskin is, mine is very loose so during showering I can expose the glans for a complete clean and rinse. I would imagine if you can rinse well soap is not an issue. I never has been for me.

I think the article may be full of it. I’ve been using soap my whole life without problems (I am uncut). Personally I just use a tiny bit of soap on my penis, unless it has been somewhere dirty. You may want to consider a soap that won’t dry out the skin too much since you don’t want to dry out your glans.
