Diuretics and penis size loss

I was just reading that diuretics decrease penis size. I am asking this for a few reasons. I used to drink coca-cola ALL the time. I frequently drink energy drinks for school and such. On occasion my brother brings up penis size saying he’s huge, and I’m convinced that if I had not dabbled with diuretics for years when I was younger (it was all I drank) that I would be much bigger now. Is it true that it is possible to recover “lost size”? If I PE I will actually get back to where I should have been? Is there anyway to “reverse” what caffeine and other diuretics do or at least aid in the reversal process? Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m pretty sure I’m going to try and keep away from coffee/energy drinks/coca-cola for awhile. I used to drink these all the time(and I really mean all the time). Are there any particular foods that I should eat to help or any foods I should definitely stay away from?

This whole deal of ordinary caffeinated drinks acting as diuretics is just a myth. Coffee and cola drinks act way more to hydrate you then dehydrate you. It basically takes caffeine overdoses to cause any kind of diuretic issues.

Q: Is coffee a diuretic?
A: The caffeine in coffee is a mild diuretic, but moderate consumption of coffee has no greater effect than that seen with plain water. Decaffeinated coffee contains minimal amounts of caffeine and will therefore also have no greater effect on fluid loss than water.
Q: So will drinking coffee make me dehydrated?
A: No, coffee is an important source of fluid in the diet and moderate consumption, of 4-5 cups per day for the general population, will have no adverse effect on fluid levels in the body. In fact, experts in nutrition state that coffee can contribute significantly to daily fluid intake.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Coffee can and will shrink your penis.

But only in rather large amounts:)

I’d say go off the stuff you’ve been on and take ginkgo biloba;)

It’ll help blood flow and possibly improve your gains:)

I’ve been taking prescribed diuretics for decades for hypertension. There has been no decrease in penis size along the way. In fact, I gained a lot here, through PE, while on one.

How are your electrolytes?
Thiazides can have a negative effect on blood pressure. When they depleted potassium levels in turn your blood pressure may go up. Non-thiazide diuretics in turn leach calcium and magnesium. These are the so called potassium sparing diuretics. Don’t neglect to eat your Bananas and other high potassium foods while on loop diuretic therapy.

It clearly says diuretic use can cause impotence. Impotence can shrink your member. I know this from personal experience.

Now there was a time that I had take diuretics for congestive heart failure.

Awww kingpole I’m glad you made it through that!!:D

Yeah it might not just be any diuretic but stuff like coffee that does it….
Not everything diuretic may have the same effect:)
I believe that the shrinking effects of coffee have more to do with the fact that it strips you of many vital nutrients.
If you aren’t drinking alot of it and you eat a healthy diet then you should be fine:)

I have excellent electrolytes, KP. In fact, my doctor tells me to step away from bananas.

But thanks.

There are different types of caffeine. Example water soluble caffeine such as in coffee and tea and fat soluble such as in the herb gaurana.

Gaurana seems to help with weight loss. Especially if it is combined with CLA’s.

I read somewhere were caffeine actually softens smooth muscle tissue. It does help people who suffer from COPD asthma type stuff. I have often given it to COPD patients during a attack and it helps to dilate the bronchial tubes. Making it easier to breathe.

So caffeine has it’s sinister side and it’s benevolent side.

Coffe will not shrink your dick.

Nor will the consumption of Coke, Pepsi, or even Jolt.

The idea that someone’s dick size would be affected permanently from the consumption of these things is preposterous. Even if as a kid you over-indulged.

In general it’s better to have healthy eating habits than not. But just as there are no magic pills you can take to grow your dick, there are no foods or drinks that will shrink it.

If you drank a lot of soda as a kid you have more worry about from your dentist than with your PE routine.

Honest.

After: I\'d like to show you something I\'m very proud of, but you guys in the front row will have to stand back.

Searched for this thread after I had a terrible sexual experience. I tried having sex after consuming about a 1.5 litres of an alcoholic energy drink. (Stupid, I know). I had diarrhea, my member shrunk to the smallest I’ve seen it in years, and when I finally got it somewhat up & came the erection was very pliable and a bit smaller than usual. The shitty mental state I was in can’t have helped either.

So…excess use of energy drinks, in my experience can definitely have temporary negative effects on your cock. They’re vasoconstrictors after all. I never wanna see my cock in that state again, haha.

Yeah, drinking caffeine didn’t change your size from what you “should have been”. You are what you are. I will say my personal experience is that caffeine, espresso and coffee shrink my flaccid hang, and hurt my EQ a little a few hours later. I switch to green tea and notice a difference in a single day. I still drink coffee when I “need to”, but not all the time.

Why is there such thing as banana overdose?

If this is a silly question, forgive me, my medical knowledge is low.
