Ok, im kinda new to all of this, and Im a little skeptical about if this is really going to help me and if its going to work. If you could, I could use any hints, words of wisdom, or any kind of support for someone whos new here. I really appreciate your help. Thanks.

That’s a really tough one!

First off, things to do:

Read as much as you can in the newbie forum, remember to check the stickies at the top of the forum.
Check out the articles, they’re all really well written and informative.

Now, things to remember:

You need to stick to this if you want to gain. It’s not a quick fix, and it can be hard to keep at it, but another thing to remember is that there are a lot of people here who are happy to help you. We were all at some point in the same position as you one time.

Take it easy to start with. It is possible to injure yourself, but if you take it easy to start with (the newbie routine is what you should start with) and gradually build it up you should get all the benefits.

If you’re not sure about something do a search on it. If you can’t find anything on it then post a thread on it (you’ll have to wait a bit till you can start new threads). If you’re worried about your question not being important enough for a thread, then you can always PM someone who’s been here for a while.

I’d recommend you keep a detailled log. You can make a thread (eventually) in the progress rerports subforum and keep it there for convenience; it also keeps it away from prying eyes. The reason I would recommend a log is that this can all be quite overwhelming. There is a huge amount of information here and it can be hard to digest it all. Keeping a log of what you do and what the effects are can help you in the future when you look back. Reading other people’s logs can be useful too.

That’s just a few, hopefully other members will fill in the blanks.

You want encouragement? This place is the single greatest site on the planet. How’s that? I have been here a total of two weeks and cannot get enough of the information here. The people are incredible. They are helpful, encouraging and supportive. There is so much knowledge here it is scary really. Even if you don’t do one thing about PE, just the understanding you can get about your member and how it works is well worth the effort.

You want help hints? READ READ READ, and when you’ve done that, READ some more. Knowledge is Power. Start slow, this isn’t a sprint its a marathon. Don’t do anything that hurts, EVER!!! Does this actually work? Take a moment to browse the progress forum and then you will see YOU BET YOUR ASS IT WORKS!

You want words of wisdom? Start here. Then take it slow. Learn your body and listen to it. If you don’t know something search for it, if you can’t find it advance search for it, if you still can’t find it ask about it.

well after ruining my ligs I learnt so much about lig related injuries and especially the things sparkyx calls PIs I feel I would have been really lucky if that thread existed before I brought myself seamlessly from a start in PE into an injury related downtime of some months.
Lots of the things he describes (in a more general way) really match what I found out or noticed when it was too late and the damage had been done already.

I think if we ever get some more participants in this thread it could very well be another of the few great theories proven to help people in their effort to PE (eg. when we can honestly setup a results chart comparing gain with PI usage, etc).
(This whole PI thing is funny in a tragic way.. Most people don’t notice it, just because it’s so darn ;) common sensical that they just never shed a thought on it until damage has been done.)

IMO the PI thread is a must read, even in its current state (and well worth the selling :) ).

As a newbie I can only second what has been said above. Why not try this: write down the newbie routine, take your measurements and post them in the database, then go away and do the exercises diligently for at least one month. Don’t try and see any size increases or even measure, just concentrate on the form of your workout. If you do this I would be very surprised if you see no improvement in this time period. Even gaining better erections should be enough to encourage you, but as I read somewhere on this forum successful PE is a marathon, not a sprint ( or something like that ).

You have nothing to lose so hang in there and give it a go.
