Hi guys , just a quick query regarding measuring. . I get a fair bit of discomfort when bone press measuring above my cock.. When I measure it hurts and my cock shrivels up and ruins my reading. Can I therefore get a proper reading by measuring to the side slightly . I can do this far more easily. I am only quite slim you see . I can grab all my cock by pulling my balls back and measuring up the side instead of along the top. So guys what do you think and does this give me a legitimate reading? Cheers and best wishes.

It does not give you a proper reading for your actual size. Because most people measure from the top, comparison is hard also.

I guess you could track your gains still though.

If you deviate from the standard methods of measurement, you could end up getting inaccurate measures. Without accurate measurement, you can’t be confident of any gains or losses.

To some extent, you’ll get used to it with time. Just don’t do bone pressed measures daily. Do it every few weeks, once a month, or even less frequently if needed. Don’t forget to measure BPFSL, in addition to BPEL. Both are equally important measures for tracking progress. You can check your NBP (non bone pressed) measures as frequently as you like without any pain. I suggest using NBP measures as well.

When first starting PE its critical that you enter every single measurement (all erect and flaccid measures)—this way you can be sure of your true progress.

Be as honest as possible with every measurement. This will help you truly evaluate where you are now, and later on, it can serve as an accurate assessment of your PE accomplishments.

David,
I would offer, if you are hurting yourself doing a bone pressed measurement, then you are pressing way to hard. I know this maybe obvious, but sometimes stating the obvious is needed.

BP should be a firm pressing against the pubic bone. Not jamming it into the bone until it hurts. The key is constant pressure during every measurement. Measure several times and take the average.

I agree with blink, you only need to measure every month or so to chart progress or document where you are before or after changing a routine.
