Hey,

My question is :

Why do you hear about hanging for hours on a single day, yet people limit themselves very strictly when it comes to manual stretching ?

I don’t believe that the stress is higher during MS, maybe it’s a matter of grip endurance and strength :?

It is easily higher with manual stretching. Manual stretching is tiring for you body too.

When I first started hanging I would have debated that tirelessly, but recently I began stretching in the bath manually up toward my stomach and it’s extremely fatiguing, far more than the same amount of time hanging.

I wish I could hang straight up comfortably and get the same result.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

Try laying completely straight on your back and then grasping the penis, gently moving your shoulder higher and placing it on the ground again, while relaxing the shoulder girdle and neck completely.
When standing, the same motion would be raising your shoulder towards your ear, but you can’t completely relax.
Laying on the ground, you create an effective pull without much effort at all; now you only have to maintain your grip.

By the way, I don’t have any experience with hanging. I only do manual stretching and thought that hanging was more intense because it’s recommend for advanced practitioners.

As someone who has had plenty of experience with both, I will have to agree with marinera. I wish I knew how to measure the amount of force applied when I use my hands for manual stretching but I can easily say that it is a much higher force than the largest amount of weight that I used for hanging.
