So I am started to do newbie routine. I’m 18 years old. My colonel is circumcised.

My BPEL I’m not sure of, because do you simply measure down to the bone next to the base of penis, or do you push the ruler farther down into the hollow next to the bone. If you measure down to the bone, I am 4.9 inches. Well just under 5 inches, ill do an exact measurement if it helps.

Anyway, I started out with hot wrap for about 6-7 minutes. I had sink full of hot water, and I warmed a hand towel in it and used it on my fireman. Went cold pretty quickly so I kept doing it etc. I should have sat down on bath because water kept dripping down my leg but whatever.

Then I did the manual stretches. Are you supposed to feel the skin stretching?

The jelqing was complicated. It worked out nothing like I saw in the videos. Hard to explain but I don’t think I was doing it right. I used nivea lotion.

Main problems were:

- I kept missing the bottom internally. I HAD to kegel between strokes, otherwise it would have been half, just a shallow kind of stroke.
- Was very very hard to maintain the right amount of erection. I kept going soft. The only alternative is watching porn which would make me fully hard which is no good. I don’t know how to maintain the erection and this is big problem.
- Kept losing count. I am going to use a calculator to press “ANSWER +1” with my foot every time I jelq, because I need two hands to jelq.
- I was using songs on my computer/ipod to count the 3 seconds and I seemed to be doing it a little slower and the pause between them was a little higher than would be expected for it to finish in “10 minutes” as the routine says.
- There was another big problem but I cannot remember it

Then I did the hot wrap, then kegels. The kegels were the most physically demanding and I have some questions on that also:

- How HARD do you do each kegel? It says 5 second holds, but do you tense it as hard as you possibly can for 5 seconds?
- How much pause between kegels do you do? I was leaving it for a second or two and then kegeling again

I remember as the workout of kegels went on I literally couldn’t(it was impossible) tense it hard for 5 seconds I would last 3 or 4 seconds then it would automatically relax.

Well I’m just going to comment and say that the Nivea lotion I have is not like a good lubricant. It soaks up pretty quickly and is not very slippery.

Linear routine starts from very little amount of jelqs so one benefit among others is, that you can focus to what you do. To maintain erection either think or watch porn and when your erection level is enough start focusing to doing jelqs to prevent full erection.

It is not necessary to do kegels while jelqing, you can do them separated and when you are familiar with the techniques you can start to combine kegels to your routine.
If you can, shower is very good for a warm up.

I think I will start that routine I see little harm in it.

OK but is a jelqing session supposed to be all stop and start like this? It is not very smooth.

No you did not understand. Perhaps I explained wrongly. Maybe this will help explain my problem. When I do the first jelq, it feels like the internal of the penis is being massaged. But when the second comes, it’s like my hand kind of is taking up the space at the top above my head, and/or pushing the internals downwards, or making it slip away even if I let go it's not as smooth, so the second stroke will not catch the same amount only half or less! do you understand this? But when I kegel it helps to kind of push it up again.

I will see if I can maintain the erection level next time j123 but I don’t understand why everyone else does not have this as a big problem.

With time keeping right erection level comes more smooth. Little variation in erection level doesn’t harm and is normal and having a couple full erections between your jelqing session does more good, than bad.

If I understood this right, this problem relates to keeping the right erection level and learning how to keep the right erection level helps with this one too. Many of your exercise problems will go away as you get more comfortable with them.

To warming you can use rice sock, but warm shower is better.
When I do kegels in my routine, I do quick kegels like about 1 or 1,5 in a second, but when I exercise just kegels shorter ones are 1 second on and 1 off. In longer ones there is much variation.
