Deconditioning break confusion

After 8 months of PE (manual stretching, jelqing, manual clamping) without any gain, I decided to take deconditioning break for a month.

I’ve stopped PE 10 days back.

And I am confused as I have not got any significant improvement in erection quality which was in the range of 6-7 on the scale of 10.

And I’ve been turtling a lot. It disheartens.

Does this mean I do not need deconditioning break and I should resume PE?

I also would like to mention that I have not gained at all since I began PE 8 months back.

No newbie gains nothing.

I would stay on break. Your erectile quality may get better in two or three or four weeks. In the meanwhile, try not to let it worry you. Everything is going to be just fine.

Thanks raybbaby. Too much turtling made me think about the efficacy of decon break.

I have read that during decon break, one’s flaccid gets better etc. Not in my case.

But anyways I am going to stay on it.

Thanks for the advice.

I had the same issues on my last break. I’m doing a longer decon right now and I’m not having any turtling problems but my EQ is shit still and I’m getting night wood but no morning wood. I’m six days into a month off I’m 99% sure the EQ stuff right now is mental for me.

Yeah, the more you worry, the worse it will get. So don’t worry about it. Make a mental note of when you want to start back up, in a month or six weeks or whenever, and just put PE out of your mind until then. Go have fun.

I know it’s hard to stay on a break, but I second the advice. Let your dick forget about all this stress, for a month or so, and then start *very* lightly with one, maybe two exercises. Just manuals. Don’t ramp up before you stopped gaining (or until you’ve established that you’re not gaining). I’m doing extremely little now in terms of PE, and I’m gaining - after not gaining for months on the newbie routine).

April 2017: 6.5" BPEL -> July 2017: 7" BPEL

New goal for 2019: 5+ inches girth

My length routine: a few single 1-minute fulcrum stretches a day. Yes, that's all.

What were your PIs when you were doing PE?

Pre-PE: BPEL - 5.75", EG - Unknown

6/3/17: FSL - 6.6" 6/12/17: BPEL - 6.4" EG - 5.2" BPFL - 4.9"

Goal: 7" x 5.5"

No. None of this. You’re on a break. Be on a break.

You can also try cycling between Girth work or Length work. I focus on length work by hanging a couple months, and then I lower sets or quit hanging and start clamping and my girth explodes another 1/8” or so relatively fast. Then i restart the process.

Currently on my hanging break now and been clamping. I’ve gained 1/4” girth in a few weeks doing like this, and about 3/8” length as well.

Good luck,
Wrath

My EQ was in the range of 6-7 out of 10 which was not that different before I started PE.
Only positive changes I found since I started PE were increase in flaccid hang and veins all the time.
But no gains in terms of erect length/girth.

No worries. I am not going to think much about anything which would adversely affect my state of mind during my break. :)

Fair enough. I see breaks as a chance to take a step back to survey what you’ve actually been doing and how its effects have either changed or remained constant, but to each their own.

Interesting. I wonder what’s keeping you from achieving that higher EQ. Do you have any habits that might contribute to keeping it in that range?

No habits that I can think of which would be counter-productive. I sometimes think if I have been stupid to keep on doing PE in spite of no gains at all for so long. But still I do not feel like giving up.
If I was over-training, I should have gained at-least something and then plateaued but that did not happen.
