Darker penis

Some have a darker penis, other have the penis colour the same as the skin. Why is that? Is there anything i can do to make my penis lighter??

I think you are bound to experience some darkening of the penis, Especially with the more intense girth exercises. I wouldn`t worry about it too much. Just make sure that your penis FEELS good, and you look for your positive PI`s.

Benga, some guys naturally have shaft (and often scrotal) skin darker than their overall body skin tone. That’s normal. If that’s the way you were made I don’t recommend attempting to alter it.

Propensity toward long-lasting discoloration from PE varies. A small percentage of men develop nasty darkening from even a simple, easy routine. On the opposite end of the spectrum, a few can maintain a fairly natural skin tone even after greatly abusing their skin. Most fall somewhere in between.

dano1122 is a good example of one relatively prone to developing the long-lasting crud (which I still believe is from hemosiderin). See his thread for more information and pictures. Note that his darkening didn’t happen immediately.

A slight darkening of the shaft from a manual PE routine is typical. Just be aware that deeper discoloration can be a long-lasting side effect. I don’t mean to start a panic. I’m only mentioning this because discoloration is a perennial issue that hasn’t seen much press lately.

I always had a darker penis than the rest of my body. I know that is coused by some hormones… I saw something about it on the internet. But i’m wondering if there is any way bring my penis colour to the same tone as my skin colour. With some cream, or something like that.

I haven’t experienced discolouration by PE yet.

Some women in porn (and others) bleach their anal area or even labia if they have hereditary dark skin there. I don’t see why that bleaching your penis wouldn’t also possible using the same technique.

Basically you would apply hydroquinone cream twice a day until the desired skin tone is achieved. There are some safety concerns about hydroquinone, but doctors seem to think it’s safe. Plastic surgeons and dermatologists also treat this type of thing (I’m sure it’s not cheap). There are also non-hydroquinone products available, but they are probably less effective.

In the United States, 2% hydroquinone is available over the counter, and higher strengths are available from a doctor. I don’t know about Brazil.

All of the info I have here is via Google. I did see a segment about it on TV once (performed by a dermatologist).

If I had darker skin on my penis, and didn’t like it, I wouldn’t be afraid to try this.

I agree with hobby. My penis is a lot darker than my skin tone. Never got a bad comment from women. Why is this an issue for you?

I like the slightly dark bronze sheen that PE gave me— makes it look heftier!

I prefer my penis now that it’s darker than the rest of my skin. It used to be pretty close in color but I suppose all the friction and slight discoloration from PE has made it darker and thus it stands out more. It used to kind of blend in and I didn’t like that very much.

I am curious as to why you want to do this? Has this been a problem in some way? Has it held you back in some way?

My penis has always been darker than the rest of me. However it is not as dark once it is erect.

Personally I like it — it is the way I was made. It is even more fun when I go get a spray tan — it gets very very dark.

Nothing spetial, realy. I never held me back. I know it’s a comon thing.

I even take off my panties and bra too!

I get them a couple three times a year, usually before I go see relatives so I don’t look so frigging white! Don’t like the UV tanning beds, find outdoor tanning kind of boring, and careful about skin damage (I look 10 years older in the face than I am anyway)

I do go out in the sun though, and will tan if I am on vacation by the ocean, so go figure!?!?!?

Anyway the spray tan makes my dick dark dark brown. Kind of amusing.

Yeah it’s perfectly normal to have darker genitals compared to the rest of your body. A lot of woman have darker labia then the rest of their body and you never give it a second thought. If the darker color is even along the entire length of your shaft then it’s a good thing. I have the problem of getting progressively darker towards the glans, its especially noticable when flaccid. Not so much when erect.

The darker the penis the more contrast and the more contrast the bigger it seems.
As sta-kool pointed out it makes your penis stand out.

I am not one to judge, but there is a line we have to draw when it comes to insecurities. I mean we all dwell on our size and performance, but skin color is rather absurd. You have to appreciate what you have, skin is skin. My base is darker than my overall skin, and the top part of my shaft and penis head are much closer to my normal skin tone. I think this gives my penis character.

P.S. there are known PE exercises that can change the color of your penis skin (though I’m not sure if its permenant) and you have to ask yourself - are you willing to opt out of effective methods for the sake of keeping a certain skin color?
