I read the “Continuous Male Orgasm” and it gave me a lot of tips. I begin the stop & go technique, where you build up to orgasm 10 different times, and on the tenth you perform a reverse kegel. Well, this goes 2 ways with me. As soon I notice a indicator for me that I’m nearing orgasm, I stop, wait 30 seconds, and do that 10 times. What appears to happen is that I just masturbate 10 seconds, wait 30, and then masturbate 10. I never seem to get to a point where it would be helping me control my orgasm.

The other way it goes is that I get close to an orgasm, but nowhere near the PONR. I stop 30 seconds. For some reason, I’m struggling to not ejaculate even though I stopped and I’m not near the PONR. I maybe can do this 3-4 times, but for whatever reason, I can’t stop ejaculation. I perform a reverse kegel to completely stop ejaculation, but it doesn’t even seems like it works. I know that I’m doing it correctly because i practiced pissing hard in the bathroom. For some reason, as I try to piss and shit myself simultaneously to hold back ejacultion, my penis just starts “dancing”, where it bobs up and down, and I have a very weak orgasm. I become soft almost immediately.

This is basically really pissing me off. I can’t seem to get it right. Which of the 2 methods do I need to improve on, since I suck at both? I figure if I concentrate on one, I’ll be up to 30 minutes by the end of the year, which would be nice.

Well, I was more concerned on which fork in the road I should take. Right now, both lead nowhere but hopefully if I take the correct one long enough, I will see something.

If one way isn’t working for you, try the opposite. Instead of the so called reverse Kegel, try to clamp down with the BC muscle by doing a continuous Kegel just before the PONR. The idea is that if you fatigue the muscle by a continuous contraction it won’t be able to contract for ejaculation/orgasm.

I actually tried that the last time edging as a bad habit/a last ditch effort to prevent ejaculation. I barely ejaculated, but I did become limp very fast. I let go of the kegel when I knew it was over, and stroked out as much as I could. From what I understand, it’s best to get it out instead of it going back up into your tubes.

I’m just gonna ask again, what I should to get better at: Where I wait for the first signs of ejaculation, or where I get to a point where I might ejaculate even though I am nowhere near the PONR or a good orgasm.

Learn to rate your level of arousal from 1 to 10.

Take your arousal up to a level 6, then let it subside 1 or 2 levels by just laying off your penis.

Do the same for level 7, 8, and 9.

Repeat the above, but instead of laying off your penis to drop your arousal level by at least one level (e.g. from 7 to 6), try to do it by slowing your breathing.

Repeat the above, but instead of dropping your arousal level by slowing your breathing, do it by kegeling (not reverse kegeling). For some people one long hard kegel works, for others several short hard kegels work better.

When you can use any of these methods for easily dropping your arousal level, try using them at level 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 etc.

Try combining them too; slow breathing and kegel. It’s likely you will need to combine them when you get to really high arousal levels.

To become multi-orgasmic and have perfect control takes time. It’s not something you master in a matter of weeks, or even a few months. Keep at it. It’s well worth the effort!

I start all over again, getting aroused to level 6? But instead of stopping, try to lower my arousal by just breathing more slowly? This one sounds like it takes a lot of skill. I don’t know if I could keep masturbating at level 6 and go down in arousal. Should I master the first level before I move to breathing techniques?

Also, kegels have been very bad to me in the past. Should I just kegel as hard as I can? I seem to breathe really fast when I try to do a good kegel. Should I use a reverse kegel ever when I’m edging? If so, when?

Yes. This really just teaches you to know how aroused you actually are and to get used to going up and down arousal levels under control.

Yes, master the first level before moving onto the breathing. It does take a fair bit of skill, but once mastered it’s very useful when you are with a partner and want to match your arousal level to theirs, or just last a long time.

Once you gain confidence that you can keep going (masturbating) but still drop your arousal level at will by breathing slower and deeper, then move onto the kegels and learn to do the same with the kegels as with the breathing.

Because you will be starting the kegels at a level 6 arousal to just drop one or two levels, you will slowly get a feel for doing the kegels just right. As you get to higher arousal levels, you will have to kegel harder and speed up the contraction rate of the kegel; this should come naturally if you learn to get the lower levels right first.

If you have practiced the breathing to drop arousal level, you should be able to combine it with the kegel. Breathing fast will increase your arousal level, just the same as breathing slowly will lower it. This may be why you have been finding it hard not to ejaculate. Learn the breathing and the kegeling separately, then combine them. You will eventually develop the ability (if you want to be multi-orgasmic) to actually have the orgasm, but not the ejaculation (the kegel will stop you ejaculating if it is strong enough, but will not stop the orgasm). Even if you just want to develop control, this will allow you to maintain very high arousal levels without cumming; you can edge for as long as you want and choose whether to finish with ejaculation or not.

Son of a bitch. Damnit. So I tried doing the going up the levels. I got to level 8, I stopped moving completely, doing nothing. I breathed as slow as I could. I started involuntarily doing kegels. After the 4th involuntary kegel, I feel like I am about to ejaculate. I Breath in for about 30 seconds straight, do a massive kegel to try to stop it, but I end up no ejaculating and just going limp.

Is there anything I can do to stop the involuntary kegels? There’s really no point in me even trying to edge if all I do is ejaculate as soon as I’m close enough for my body to automatically kegel until I ejaculate.

Congratulations! No, I mean it really. I think everyone gets that a few times, even when they think they are getting a handle on the whole control thing. Even years after training myself rigorously, I STILL get that once or twice a year or so, just as you describe; well away from actually ejaculating then my body just takes over and does it’s own thing. Very frustrating, but it happens. The orgasm is lousy too.

Don’t worry. It’s all part of the learning process. You will ejaculate so many more times in your life that it’s irrelevant really. Keep working at it, with the attitude that it’s really not all that important. Sometimes it’s the pressure we put on ourselves to be ‘perfect’ that screws it up for us. It’s a long slow process, and (like the rest of life) screwing up is a major part of moving forward.

You’re not bad at edging, you just need to work on it for a while longer, and it doesn’t matter how long it takes; when you have got it you will be head and shoulders above most of your peers.

Well, I have better control when I’m not watching porn, so I turned on a TV show and started masturbating after watching 5 minutes of porn. After about 10 minutes, I got to level 6. I then got to level 4 and started masturbating. Here’s where it gets weird and confusing. I was laying down, breathing calmly like I was sleeping and got to level 7. I completely subsided from touching of my penis, when all of a sudden, my penis immediately escalated from level 7 to level 10, resulting in yet another terrible orgasm with ejaculation. I can’t figure out why once I get to level 7, I ejaculate whether or not I keep masturbating. This is the first time I’ve ever done this. Back before I knew edging or PE, I would stop masturbating because I liked doing it so it would last longer and I found out that it was a greater orgasm.

It’s kinda like when you try so hard to perform, but you actually do worse. This actually happens a lot with me. But to answer your question, It only happens when I am consciously trying not to ejaculate.

It sounds like the classic ‘pink elephant’ syndrome - if I say ‘Don’t think of a pink elephant’… what do you think of?

You are thinking ‘don’t ejaculate’.

Firstly, decide it doesn't matter if you ejaculate or not. (Take the pressure off yourself). It really doesn’t matter. You can ejaculate many times in your life; this time isn’t so important.

Then, until your body/mind gets over the reaction, you can either work at low enough levels where you certainly won’t ejaculate first, or you can replace the ‘don’t ejaculate’ thought with ‘I just want it to last a while longer because this is great’ (or whatever works for you/has worked in the past).

Another alternative: you can always just masturbate normally and ejaculate, then as soon after as you can get another erection, do your edging exercises then; you should be much less likely to ejaculate and your arousal level will drop faster.

What this does show is that you have a strong penis/mind connection. Although you may have a little difficulty making it work for you straight off, when you do get your mind to control your penis you should be very good at it.

Practice makes for improvement, and it’s good fun too. Let me know how you go on.
