So after lots of inconsistency I’m on a routine right now of overhand dry-jelqing for 6 minutes, 1 set of 3 minutes with each hand. Lately (the last 2-3 days) I’ve noticed that I’m developing a slight curve to my right near the base of my shaft. My penis has always been straight so I’m sure it’s happening due to PE. My theory is it has to do with the starting point of my dry jelqs on my shaft and a potential imbalance in pressure between my fingers on each hand. If I can target girth at the right side of my base I think I should be able to correct it. Thoughts on what exercises I should be doing? I’m thinking I’ll add some O-bends since I’ve done them in the past comfortably and without injury, but I want to target as close to the base as possible.

Your theory is ludicrous, and never before in the wildest renderings has anyone developed a banana curve in the brief time you have been active. It’s a phantom curve you are experiencing, and it could be due to a high EQ, an overly rigid erection that wandered off the path. So, when you wake up tomorrow; you will be straight as an arrow.

I’ve been coming to TP since at least 2014 (used to lurk before making my account so could be earlier) and have attempted routines multiple times. I’m 2 weeks into a 5 on/2 off and have seen plenty of progress reports where guys notice changes within the first week so it’s not unheard of to actually see something this early, especially since I’ve seen it for multiple consecutive days now. You’re right about high EQ though. My morning wood has been through the roof lately. It’s not crazy pronounced or anything, but it is enough for me to notice and not brush it off as a one-time occurrence. We’ll see what happens in the next week or two.

Okay, so it’s been 3 weeks since I posted this and the curve is definitely still there. I’ve sometimes been adding 90 seconds (3x30) of 2-way stretches/tunica tugs since I’m trying to avoid targeting my ligs (for now, at least; I may change my mind down the road) to keep my dick guessing a bit, and it’s decreased my overall hardness and EQ when I edge after a workout from 8-10 down to more like 7-9, but I’m getting quite a bit of expansion. I try to jelq evenly with both hands but have also been jelqing at a slight angle to the side instead of SO to create more pressure and expansion in my right CC to counteract the curving, but I’m beginning to think some of my curve is due to an uneven baseball effect at my base. Thoughts?

Oh, and one other observation. I noticed that sometimes when I get hard I’ll have missile dick on the left side of my shaft (base is wider and tapers as I reach my glans) while the right of my shaft goes SO. Maybe if I can create the same shape/effect on the right side of my shaft it’ll straighten the curve out.

Are you a right-handed person?

Just guessing wildly but

1. could it be that when jelqing your initial OK grip at the base would be stronger when using the right hand and by this produce some stretching of the ligament.

2. or as right handed person you would make a not exactly axial jelq straight out and by this stretching the tunica a bit more on it’s left side?

As I said, just making wild guesses.

An idea for cure could be a) measure the curve first and then b) to intentionally do more left-hand jelqing than right-hand jelqing. Do it for one month and then remeasure.

Pretty trivial but, in my humble opinion, worth for giving it a try.

I’m actually ambidextrous with a tendency toward left-dominant haha. I think doing some research behind the mechanisms that cause tunica curvature (not Peyronie’s, but the actual anatomical structure itself) would probably be the best way of addressing it. Right now I’m playing around with how to best create a difference in pressure applied to my CC’s so I develop more base girth in my right CC as I think that method has the best chance of correcting it. Thankfully it’s not a major curve and I know my girlfriend won’t care, but it would be nice to be able to fix it and not have to warn other guys that PE could potentially make you develop a curve.

When you look at your dick a lot more often and from the angle of doing exercise on it being your sole focus, you tend to notice things in more detail

Yes, great idea! And if you find a way, please tell me. Not ironic at all - I have quite a natural curve as you can check in my roadbook.
I am trying to work “against it” when jelqing but did not yet really notice a change.
