Couple Questions

Couple Questions

Hey there!

Second thread, now we’re getting somewhere! I’ll try to make this as short and sweet as possible.

1. I’m new to jelqing, like extremely new. Are there any significant signs that show I’m doing it correctly? Right now I use a reverse ok sign; index finger on CS, palm facing down, 5 second jelq. I try to hold my hand right below the glands for a few seconds while also starting my second jelq. The problem is that I don’t feel anything after my sessions! No soreness, stiffness, nothing! Is this normal for an extreme beginner? Or a sign that I need to grip slightly harder?

2. How hard should I pull during the stretching portion? I looked at the example videos and the dude looks like he’s about to rip his dick off! I’m not pulling nearly as hard, and am quite scared to. This being said, I’ve always been a bitch when it comes to stretching my unit. I’ve never measured my BPFSL, however it would probably be something like 3.5-4 inches (Erect length is 5.5) due to the fact that I’m scared to stretch it any further! Is this all in my head? Or are my fears grounded? I’ve never experienced pain whilst stretching my dick, I really don’t feel anything. Does that mean that I should up the pull intensity? Or just slowly work up the courage to apply more force gradually? Also, should stretches be done in a semi-erect state or fully flaccid?

3. If you don’t experience soreness/any sort of signs of PE being successful, does that warrant skipping an off day? In other words, I just finished 2 days on and have tomorrow planned as a rest day. However, since I feel/see nothing different about my unit does that mean I can skip my off day? Or is that just asking for an injury?

4. Is there anything I can do to optimize my chances of making gains? I do my PE exercises in a sauna-like environment. I warm up for 10-15 minutes. My diet is EXTREMELY clean (no fast food, proportions between fats, carbs, and proteins as well as calories is tracked). I don’t masturbate. I do heavy weight training everyday. I sleep an average of 9 hours a night. I take supplements such as fenugreek, tribulus, and maca root daily (supposed test boosters, my erections are insanely hard and I’m always horny). Is there anything else I can do differently that may help me make gains?

Any and all responses are appreciated!

Anyone out there? Haha.

I played it safe and took an off day today, however I would still love to hear responses to #3 for future reference. Any and all help is appreciated!

Hello Riceman! I’m gonna try to help a little bit but not from experience but rather from what I’ve read from the really experienced guys:

#1: I don’t really know too much about jelq. It’s a bit more complex that it seems for me. In my opinion you should feel something after the workout but not any discomfort or pain, it’s hard to explain because I don’t really know the word in english for it but it’s like the blood running through your penis. I can’t say much because I haven’t mastered jelqing yet and I don’t have enough experience with it.

#2: Stretches should always be done fully flaccid. Regarding your doubt about the difference between the flaccid stretched length and the erect length, the difference between them is different for everyone but it’s usually close to the erect length so in my opinion you could stretch a little bit harder, until you feel your penis fully stretched without any kind of pain.

#3: Rest is important because it’s when penis grow but the newbie routine is 5on/2off so I think that as long as you have 2 days of rest a week and good PIs you’re gonna be OK. Always watch your PIs and how your penis feels before even thinking about doing extra days.

#4: I think you’re good but maybe someone with more experience in this might help you.

I hope you can get results and also that my post has been of any help. Welcome to Thundersplace!

Thanks for the reply, Jon!

It seems as though I’m not going hard enough on my jelqing sessions, as I don’t really feel anything different in my dong. I assume what you’re referring to is that my unit should be filled with blood after my session. I have noticed that my flaccid girth and length seem to be much larger than normal. I originally said that I wouldn’t be able to stretch past 4 inches, however looking down now it’s resting at around 4-4.5 (Erect length is 5.5 last I measured)! I assume this is a response to something I’ve done right.

In reference to what you said about stretching, I am slightly confused. I started my PE journey at PEGym, another forum like this one. Their beginner routine said to warm up with a semi-erect penis, so I assumed that stretching should also be done when semi-erect. Is that absolutely incorrect? Should I be warming up and stretching with a fully flaccid penis? If both work, which one is more ideal for length gains?

Thanks for the info again brother!

1. Okay. First of all. No pain is a good thing. There should never be pain. But after a good jelqing session your penis should be nice and engorged with blood. Should almost look swollen if you know what I mean. The overhand grip is a strong grip, so be careful you don’t injure yourself.

2. On your second question. Stretches should be done flaccid. Erect and semi erect stretches can result in injury, plus in a flaccid state the ligaments stretch easier. You don’t need to rip your penis off, but you should feel a tug on your ligs at least. Maybe since your only starting out, you will first feel your skin stretching before you feel your ligament. This is normal, so don’t worry about it.

3. Off days are important, but a 5 on 2 off routine has given me the best results. But everyone is different. Try different things and see what works for you, but don’t change things too quickly. If you change something, give it a month or two to see if it does benefit you before changing again.

4. Only thing I can add is that you add a 10-20 min edging session at the end. It will help with healing and cementing any gains you might have made during that session.

Hope this help, and always remember, its a marathon. Not a sprint. I’m almost 7 years in my PE journey and still haven’t reached my destination.

Thanks for the extremely informative post! I’d like to ask something else as well just for clarification.

When you say engorged, does that mean that it should be full of blood for the rest of the day? Or just directly after the session? Directly after my sessions I notice that my unit looks more girthy, and while I feel as though I have a 50% erection, it measures at my normal fully erect length. In other words it’s longer and larger than it normally is. Should these effects last longer than directly after?

I plan to add longer stretches and edging later on. Thanks for the tips man!

With me it will usually stay engorged for about an hour after my work out. Sometimes a bit longer, which means I have good EQ usually, and sometimes a little shorter, which usually is a sign that I can start to up the intensity of my workouts. It differs for different reasons but an hour is a good indicator.

Thanks for the follow up post, New!

I think I understand a little more about jelqing now, thanks to you as well as trial and error! During my session today I was able to feel my blood moving, and afterwards my hang was quite large and girthy. In fact, I measured myself yesterday and am up by .25 inches in BPEL! Could be due to poor measuring before, could be due to PE. Either way I’m feeling good, haha!

Thank you once again for all of the help!

Its a pleasure. I’m glad I could help. Good to hear about the better hang. I remember how that felt. Remember that in the beginning you can also make gains just from good EQ due to a good routine. We call it newbie gains. Its a good sign. So keep doing what you’re doing.
