Cool down instead of warm down

After speaking with Iguana, I am trying the cool down to see of this will help effect length gains and am going to give it a shot. The problem is that after jelqing I don’t want to (assuming most people warm, then stretch, then jelq, and then warm again) massage my penis into a thinner state to re-perform a stretch for my cool down because I feel that without seeing that engored hang then one wouldn’t know if they got a good workout in.

Anyone have any ideas?

Would appreciate vet response as well.

If you want to cool down, the tissues will retract. Basic response to cold, you know.

So should I not cool down? Are you saying that Iguana is wrong as far as this is concerned

No, I’m saying that if you can’t have it both ways - you have to accept that cooling down means you won’t have the fat plump feeling.

Exactly. But the flat plump feeling goes away with a five minute warm down in the shower after about 3 minutes anyway. Then it turtles for 10 and goes back to normal after that.

Is this what should be happening? Because I just tried the cool down in a stretched state, and had to ruin the flat plump feeling in order to get flaccid enough to stretch during my cool down with cold water.

Also many guys talk about letting their unit cool down to room temp after a shorter (about 2 min) warm down.

Regardless though, in order to finish your session in a stretched state you have massage the plumpness out of your penis anyway. I’m so confused on what makes you gain and what doesn’t. There is such a contradiction of opinion from thread to thread that I can’t ever get clear answers.

Mgus have any ideas about finishing in a stretched state and losing that plump feeling?

I have the same question…I hope that some knowledgeable vet can give us a good answer on this one…

Look, I don’t think it makes much of a difference. Your penis needs to relax and heal after a session, so a warm/cool down is necessary, regardless of what visual effect it may have (losing the plumpness, turtling and so forth). Remember! PE happens between the sessions, not immediately after a session. The best time to see what are the effects of your routine is on your day or days off PE!

So yeah, I hear you, I too finish a session in turtle mode after the warm down, and it’s not a nice visual to see your penis so small after a good workout, but it doesn’t matter! Cause on the next morning I wake up with a glorious morning glory, and my flaccid hangs longer all day long.

Now, about warm/cool down. I personally prefer warm down, not cool down. I’ve tried cool down, and I don’t think it’s for me, at least not now. Anyway, don’t listen to me, do experiments and find out what’s good for you!

If you cool-down, you should have a longer FL for some time; it should aid remodelling the penis at that longer state. But you should hold your penis stretched while cooling. Of course, less heat means less plumped, as mgus said :you can’t have both at the same time. If you do want a girthier flaccid after a PE session, avoid cooling.

That makes sense but which promotes the best growth.

I think cooling down promotes slihgtly best lenght-gains, but is a just an hypothesis.

An hypothesis without any verified science behind it, though.

That’s why I said ‘just an hypothesis’ :) .

Usually a hypothesis is based om some kind of scientific circumstance that one can extrapolate or reasonably assume to be valid in other cases as well.

In this case - unless Iguana or Remek wish to present something else - all seems to boil down to a claim made by XLMagnum in Shiver’s “Benefits of heat in PE” thread, where he claims that there is a gel-like substance somewher in the tunica that hardens when cooled down, ergo cooling down in an elongated state is good.

Now mind you, I have asked XLMagnum (or was it MagnumXL?) later when he came back a year or so afterwards if he could elaborate on this gel-like substance, but he never cared to respond and explain. Nor have I found any support for this claim elsewhere.

So unless someone else can enlighten me, I see no reason to pay any attention to the cooling down theory. Although you are welcome to make me pay attention.
