Collegen Defensive Retraction

I have noticed when doing my PE routine (namely Uli’s) that after a certain number of clamps I’ll regain my erection with extreme hardness but reduced Girth which is temporary but what I wanted to know is am I supposed to stop just shy of the Defensive collagen contraction or is it just a temporary byproduct of the expansion exercises?

BTW since starting uli’s the vein on the right side of my penis has become very pronounced,good I imagine(not thrombosed) increased blood flow etc but the left remains,I did experience a thrombosed vein on the top of my left side when over training last year which made me get out,even after almost a year of rest it comes back when to much pressure builds up in that area.Is there any difference in the veins in the left and right side or is their functions mirrored?
