I see guys here posting that you should choose an education that gives work asap. I’d say no.
Take your time and figure out what you like doing and can see yourself doing 10 years from now, whatever that is - study it.
Your initial pay may be bad and you might not get employed for a while after graduation, however if you like it you will become very good at it. That’s how you increase your salary, by being awsome at what you do.
Don’t get a job simply for the impressive standard pay. If so you will spend most of the days in your life doing and focusing on what you don’t like, just so you can keep on living - which is mostly doing what you don’t like.
You get me?
I assume college ain’t free in the U.S, if it is then don’t hesitate to bail out if you realize it’s not worth doing, if it’s not free then do your research properly.
