Just wondering what the purpose of a cock ring is?

It’s suppose to trap blood in the penis so you can get rock hard erections during sex and can be used for PE purposes (kind of like clamping).

I get literally rock hard when I wear one before sex. My girlfriend says she really doesn’t care for it since my cock is way too hard and stiff, but its still enjoyable. She says she prefers it without (but all women are different I’m sure).

I use a rubber one at the base of my cock (not behind the balls). I do use somewhat of a tight one and only wear it for 20-30 minutes tops!

Hmmm… on the other hand, I never did a PE workout (jelqing, warming up) before putting one on so maybe that could help even more with expansion.

Either way. I like to have sex a bit and then put it on. I do have to use some lube since I wear one that is fairly tight. But, it would probably be easier to put it on while semi-erect or flaccid.

Is using a cock ring the same thing as clamping?

No.

I like to use a rubber cock ring (softer with some give) when jelqing or squeezing sometimes. It seems to help keep the blood in longer and it takes less time to get to a “plump” state.

So where do you get a clamp then?

You can buy cable clamps at Home Depot. Usually they are in the electrical department for keeping extension cords wrapped up. They are orange but I’ve seen someone on here had green ones.

Technically what is different from doing manual clamping with your hand, using a cockring for clamping or buying a official clamp?

PS- I htought these clamps were made specifically for penises, I was surprised to see them advertised for wires and video equipment etc. It would’ve been hilarious if they had a final picture at the bottom of some guy with his dick clamped lol.

The cable clamps in that link don’t look very round surely that can’t be a good thing?

Cock rings, especially the jelly ones, work great after a PE session to keep your dick engorged.

It will fit your penis better than you think. The clamps have a shape close to that of a penis (triangular), works better than hose clamps IMO.
