Clamping before or after jelqing

I was wondering if anyone has any insight or experience with this. I’m curious as to if clamping before jelqing would have a greater effect than clamping after. Thanks!

I’ve always jelqed before clamping. Jelqing is a less intense exercise compared to clamping. For me it makes sense to start of with less intense exercises as a sort of warmup for the more intense stuff.

Yeah that was my thought process too.

I clamp after the jelq too.

5 minute warm up.

I stretch for 10-15minutes at least.

50 jelqs, 5 minute clamp. I repeat the jelqs and clamping 3 times.

So far I’m having results. Will get an ADS if I reach a plateau .


I’ve noticed that I don’t do as long of a routine as most guys on the forum. I do about 10 minutes of dry, high erection jelqing and then 10 minutes of clamping. I also do some edging before and after the jelqing and clamping for a warm up and cool down. I’m getting results and I’ve been at this for over 2 years. I’m beginning to think that there isn’t any reason to bump up your routine every so often.

I use to do 1/2 an hour of dry jelqs every day for the first 3 or 4 months and I didn’t see half the gains I do with this new routine. I guess everyone has an over and under amount of PEing and some need to do a little more to get gains.

Do some clamping like 1 or 2 sets then go Jelq then finish with more sets of clamping

Otis, how much have you gained?

I jelq a bit both before and after a clamping sessions. Before as a worm-up and after to get fresh blood into the penis again and to prevent permanent discolouration.

I’ve gained a little more than a half inch in girth. I’m fine with my length so I don’t do any length type PEing. I feel like I should be farther along but I’ve read several times that gaining girth is harder than length. I also had a bad routine for the first few months.

I don’t know. Do you guys think that gaining 1/2 an inch in girth is a good amount in 2 years?

I do clamping before no warmup then warmup in bath then jelq then stretch. Leave the bathroom stretch some more then finish with clamping.
