Clampers Help! Should I start Clamping Now?

Hello fellow PE members!!!

I was on a hiatus from PE for about two years from when I went from 6.7 x 4.5 to (very recently) 8x4.9.

My goal is 8.5x6 (if I get to 6 I will try to get to 6.5…maybe.)

I have grown comfortable with PE so I decided to do clamping, something that scared the heck out of me before. I know if I get girth before length, it’ll be harder to achieve but I figure by the time I get the girth I want maybe I can meet the length requirement. Kind of meet it halfway scenario instead of waiting another 3 months to get to 8.5, then another 4 for the girth I want.

I was trying to see if anyone had any suggestions, maybe wait till I get to 8.3 BPEL or wait for 8.5 to cement the gains to start clamping. Any input would be helpful.

Also if there are any clampers that could tell me how long it took to get the girth you want, that’s very helpful too. Is it really that hard to achieve length after more girth?

Don’t start clamping just yet, wait til you’ve been PE’ing consistantly for a bit longer and then ease into it. Some people are never ready, so I advise you to make sure you are as ready as you could ever be, i.e. nothing else is working.

If you’re just getting back to PE after a 2 year break, you should condition for few months before clamping.

No one can tell you how fast you’re going to gain, some people get 0.5” of girth in a matter of months while some people take literally years.

I personally gained 0.1” of girth in 1 month of clamping, but I decided to stop and leave it for the end, i.e. after I’m done with length and drain all girth gains from manual exercises and pumping.

8” is plenty of length, condition yourself for 2-4 months doing length exercises, you might gain something, then ease into clamping with something like 3x3 minutes or 3x5 minutes, 3 times a week, then gradually increase.

Even better, try something less intensive for start and leave clamping for times when gains are coming very slowly (or not coming at all).

Goal • 7.00''x5.75''

I seriously doubt clamping will impede any further length gains at this point. At best the idea that working on girth decreases one’s ability to gain length is conjecture.

Tehnically the only requirements for clamping are that you have been jelqing for at least 3 months but preferably 6 months prior to beginning your clamping adventures. However what caboose says is true, if you’re still gaining by doing what you’re doing, then you might as well continue to do so.

I’ve still gotten length gains while clamping for the past few years. As yet I haven’t sustained an injury (knock on wood). The warning of easing into it and making sure you’re conditioned can’t be understated. Make sure you’re conditioned before you start an extreme exercise, start very slow and work your way up.


Start (Initially August 2008, Properly November/December 2008): 6.9x4.9

Currently (September 2010): 8.5x5.75 (6.25 inch head girth)

I forgot to mention that I restarted my routine back in May to present day so I feel like I’m conditioned again. But of course I want to reach my goal as soon as possible, but I know long term it’s better to do it the safer way. I started with wet jelqing then I’m slowly moving my way up to dry just because I’m becoming too conditioned.

However that’s interesting what Tweaking said. I just assumed that people had trouble gaining length while gaining girth. I suppose that hasn’t been fully proven nor disproven or again, it’s different for everybody.

TOO MANY VARIABLES!!!

Anyway I agree that I should just keep gaining length while I still can then move up to girth. I know 8 is good enough…but I’m my own worst enemy, plus I still need to cement.

I think you’ll find that you will just about always get a response on this forum, I haven’t seen many threads go unanswered in my time here.
