What is the type of the clamp used for clamping is it the screw band clamp?

We don’t recommend any type of screw band clamps for clamping. Those are too prone to causing problems. If you desperately need to get out of the clamp for any reason, the release mechanism can be trouble. Clamping users normally use cable clamps.
