Hi, I’m new to all this.

I was wondering if instead of using a clamp, you can you apply a lot of pressure LIKE a clamp with yours hands?

And for hanging, can you just pull it down with your hands, LIKE a hanger?

There is so much information on this website that it can be a bit overwhelming, I know I was when I first found out about PE’ing.

I had read about advanced exercises like clamping and hanging and jumped in too fast and injured myself forcing me to take a break for 3 months.

The best advice I can give you is to read the “Newbie routine” and give that a go for 3 months.
That includes manual stretches, jelqing and Kegels.

Many guys gain well from this routine.

I tried that. It is pretty awkward and not really effective like a real clamp.

If your arms are not tired, than keep on pulling :D

Anyway, I’m not sure about how long you have been PEing. If you are a newbie, you’d better start with newbie routine: Wet jelq instead of clamping and manual stretch instead of hanging.

7 x 6 EG is perfect!

Routine : Manual-V-Inverted V-JAI-BTC stretches (alot of stretches :D ). Wet Jelq, Pumping (once a week to maintain my girth)

I’m new to these forums, but have been PEing for a few years now. This whole time I’ve been doing nothing but manual stretches and jelqs, and those worked quite well for a long time.
After a while, your dick is able to handle alot more stress than when you first start doing it. Put it this way:

When I first started PEing I mostly just did manual jelqs, and I could only handle doing it for short periods of time (like 10-15min) per day. Even that sometimes mad my dick too sore to do it each day. But after I noticed some gains, I knew it was working, and after a while I was able to do jelqs for like 30min at a time without problems.

One physical thing to look for is how swollen your dick gets after a workout. Mine used to balloon up pretty easily in the beginning, but later on it was able to handle more and more stress.

I would say that if you can do a relatively hard session of jelqs for a period of time like 20-30 min
Or so and your dick isn’t really swollen, then maybe you are ready to try clamping. I just got into clamping myself, but that’s after a few years of off and on PEing.. I would guess that you won’t have to wait quite as long as a few years, I am only doing it now because I just recently found out about it (didn’t know about this forum until recently.)..

My advice is just take it nice and easy if you’re just getting into it. Also, pay attention to your body and if you feel like you might be pushing the envelope, then hold off for a while and wait until you’ve healed up a bit before starting again.

BTW - I tried doing manual “clamps” before, and I guess they could work, but my hand would get cramped up/tired.

Remember, you only have one dick! (Unless you are some kind of mutant.)

Just so you know azn, I might hold off on clamping for a while yet.. I know the manual exercises are a chore and a half, but hey they worked for me and several others here I’m sure.
