Cementing gains

I think it’s because my length gains so far have come from the ligaments which once stretched don’t really return to their original state. (I know this because I have a ligament in my ankle that is stretched from an injury years ago. Which allows me to bend my ankle past the normal range of movement.) When it comes to the tunica though… if you had tunica length gains, then it would be the same effect on both your length gains and my girth gains. The tunica must be consistantly stretched to keep strain on it, the after a while they become “cemented” as we say. That’s why from now on, if I take a couple days break, I will still do some dry style jelqs in the shower to make sure it was still stretched a bit each day and doesn’t have a chance to tighten back up.

Jimmy,

You state that you have a temporary EG gain. Do you have any temporary EL gain to match?

The thing about EL gains is that the measurements aren’t going to be clouded with short term edema, whereas EG almost certainly will be (depending on excercises). For example, a pump would produce much more edema than a Uli.

The way I have it pictured is that significant losses would take months or maybe *much* longer to occur, as I imagine the body will generally adapt to its environment as priorities and resources dictate. For example, if something very costly (eg. muscle) takes months to diminish significantly, then something inexpensive and slower turnover like collagens could reasonably be slow to show (years?). This is most definately not presented as fact, just my guess.

I think that when a strong remaining link or constraint is overcome, then sometimes we do see what ‘appears’ to be a growth spurt. Perhaps focusing on excercises that create internal ‘push’ pressures over external ‘pull’ pressures, and figuring out ways to maintain that deformation throughout the repair time as much as safely possible (vasodilators, rings etc come to mind) might help somwhat. It may be the case that a more gentle routine when coupled with an effective support strategy may produce better results than even the most brutal workout regimen.

Cool, a word I had to look up.

“Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913)”
OEdema OE*de”ma, n. NL., from Gr. ? a swelling, tumor, fr.
? to swell. (Med.)
A swelling from effusion of watery fluid in the cellular
tissue beneath the skin or mucous membrance; dropsy of the
subcutaneous cellular tissue. Written also edema.

I wish the PSG’s were permanent. Right after my PE workout today I had made it to my first goal of a 5 inch NBP. That’s almost a half inch gain. I just hope someday very soon I can be that big without it being a PSG.

BTW in case anybody is going to ask what routine I did. It’s just the basic newbie routine.

Start 5.25 BPEL x 4.36 EG

Current 6.2 BPEL x 4.60 EG

Ok, I’ve never had Length PSG’s, only girth ones. I used to only be about a 1/4” bigger girth during PSG, but now it always seems a 1/2” bigger for PSG. I don’t know if it’s from changing up my jelqing style or something else. But from what some of you guys were saying earlier, you believe these PSGs are signs of an upcoming gain? (Damn would that be sweet!)

Are their times when you do PE and still remain the same girth, or does this always happen, because to me it seems like it’s just what happends after a PE session, but I’ve only been doing PE 3 monthes now, so maybe it’s more than that.

Fucking Brits, always adding extra letters to otherwise normal words.

FWIW, I usually measure about 1/8” longer BPEL after a workout. BPFSL increases roughly the same.

Girth varies more. Wrapping, Ulis, pumping, etc. can bloat it up substantially, sometimes approaching a full inch. To track true progress, it’s important to take several days off before measuring. Even plain jelqing will cause some degree of edema.

Lol Hobby! Blame that Websters dictionary you guys adopted :)

I use the Oxford!! It’s a tome!! Rouss taught me a new word yesterday—“skivvy.” I like the sound of it—“skivvy.” It conjures up all kinds of images.

Redwood,

That was my experience during the first five months—that is, the PSG’s preceded “permanent” gains. Hope this is true for you as well. I did no pumping or hanging, though, and experienced no edema that I was aware of. Good luck.

Well if that’s the case, I’m pretty excited about the next month or two and what it may bring.

Does anybody know what causes the PSG for length and if there is any way to make them stay? BTW I was able to get that measurement right after the work out and edging for the biggest erection possible. Would that have been my 100% erection or something like 110% of normal?

Next time I’ll measure girth and see how much that changes.

Shiver,

I don’t get EL PSG’s since I don’t do much stretching, I’m obsessed with girth gains at the moment. But then when I think about it, even though I do basicly errect squeezes and bends only, I do seem to be a tad longer after.

By the way, I feel great after reading through all these posts, it’s now obvious that I’m on track and my permanent gains should be on the way. THEN once I’ve cemented in some girth I can use PSG’s on top of that for sex! woot, I wonder if I’m getting closer to my gf past lovers size.. maybe I’ll never know because I don’t plan on asking her those types of questions.

BTW, I’m about 4.7” midshaft before a workout, 5.1 after and it lasts for a while, slowly shrinking over the course of 4-5 hours. Base is about 5.0” before and 5.4 after :]

Having trouble cementing gains, this damn thing shrinks so much from the PSG’s I get. I’m wondering if giving the thing days off is a good idea or not?

I should do a poll.. how many days off a week do you guys take? I’ve heard that the penis needs some days off to rebuild the tissue, but I’m not sure what to do just now. I’m trying to cement in these huge PSG gains, currently doing about 30-45 minute sessions of errect squeezes and bends, roughly three days on one day off.

So is there anything you guys can suggest to help cemement in these gains? Maybe do 4 days on 1 day off? or how about less often to give the tissue time to heal?? I just don’t know. (I have a feeling it can handle/use more working out not less)

thanks for any information.

Jimmy,
I have thought about that before and back in April I decided to forget scheduled days off. I still took days off, but only when I needed them, not because it was scheduled.

I think someone already mentioned this, but if you feel you need a scheduled day(s) off, then maybe it would still pay to do some sort of very light maintenance routine on those days like a few quick stretches or some light jelqs?

Jimmy,

Take it for what it’s worth, but during my first five months, I rarely took a day off—no hanging, but I milked and stretched the shit out of that thing for one to two hours a day. But I never felt pain or discomfort. If I had, I would have stopped.
