Hey guys, I’ve searched on heat wraps and to see if you really need them. Some say they’ve gotten gains without them and some say they got better gains with them, I find them a huge inconvienience. Please post. Thanks :)

Goal: // Flaccid: 5.5" / NBPEL: 8" (From Top) / EG: 5.5"-6" / Work out my curve. (Gain 0.5" from working out curve)

The newbie routine instructs to use heat. Maybe a IR lamp would be in order, the washcloth shit and etc. are a pain in the ass, I do agree.

It’s a lot easier to hurt your penis if you don’t heat it up first.

Hurt + Penis = Bad!

Its pretty easy to just use a heat lamp.

Use heat. Won’t hurt unless you go above way hot and pull much to hard at the same time (pparently way too much heat - into very uncomfortable zone - will diminish the tensile strength of tendons, and since ligs and tunica are similar, prudence is called for. Read Shivers “Heat in pe”- thread). But as long as you go for uncomformable heat and don’t pull til’ the veins on your forehead start bulging, heat is better than no heat. I run my dick under the hot water tap or stretch in the tub. I’d say I heat about half the time. For jelquing, Obends etc the heat is very beneficial, in my opinion.

Do you know about the rice-sock? Easiest, cheapest most conveint way to heat, especially during hanging. Fill a sock with rice and nuke it for about 60 seconds in the microwave. As a newbie you probably not hanging yet, but when you do the sock is indespencable. It can be wrapped around or placed under the shaft and pulled up, down, side to side for gently bending ther tunicia while under the stress of the weights.

PUMPING: Heating pad wrapped around the tube works best for pumping.

JELQING and/or MANUAL:

I do all jelqing and manual stretching and aqua-pumping in the hot tub: 104 degree. Heat, always heat, pain in the ass, true, but very important.

Yeah, BG, you need to put the sock on your penis not up your ass. Works better that way. :leftie: Although I’ve never tried putting it up my ass, it may actually feel good. :-k

IR lamps work well or the rice sock.

IR lamps aren’t only used just to warm up before your routine…it is also useful to keep it warm DURING your routine.

Heat is definitely important. Stretches and most exercises are more intense when heat is involved.

I was thinking; if one put the IR-lamp up one’s butt, one would hit the PC’s without risking the gonads…

Usually putting an IR lamp on a PC makes the processor burn up.

I’m using IR lamp and I love it. It’s very convenient. It gives me confidence for intensive clamping :-)
