Can I stop being a new member please? MOD HELP?

I’ve been a member since 2009, but my account says I’m still a new member and as such I cannot start threads anywhere but in the newbie areas. How do I fix this? I have relevant questions to ask in other areas damn it.

So the time that I have been here doesn’t matter? That’s odd. I guess its to stop people from making an account and just coming back to it after a while but that’s still weird. I guess ill have to stop being such a lurker. Thanks man.

Also are you the original thunder? Holy shit man thanks for this place, I’ve been kind of an evangelical of it for a while. Seriously man thanks, this place has helped a lot of people and even saved a couple of lives.
