Caffeine is a drug and like most drugs the body gets used to it and requires more and more to get the same effect as the first time you introduced it into the body. Having a couple of cups a day as you have been for the last ten years won’t harm gains at all. Just because something can be known as a vasoconstrictor doesn’t mean it has that much of a profound effect on the body.It all depends on type and amount.

I don’t do any drugs, not prescribed any drugs, don’t smoke and maybe have one beer a week if that. But, I do love my coffee and it is also used as a pre workout for me. I normally on average drink about 3-4 cups a day.

I guess I’m gonna have to wean myself down to 2 cups a day. Plus, I hate dependency upon anything, so if helping my penis gains means cutting down on coffee, I’m all in.

Read a few articles if you guys are interested, but it basically affects blood pressure, your sleep quality, the nervous system (why it makes your flaccid smaller), all which in turn can affect your gains.

You can start by stop using an arbitrary measurement of “cups” that means 0. Calculate your daily consumption in mgs. Like 2000 is way too much whilst 500 is okay. Just calculate the strenght or concentration of your coffe times the ml you consume in total. So 1 cup is not okay as a measurement whilst carefully measuring the thing you drink out of to be an exact amount of mls is okay.

I can mix myself 1 cup of strong coffe in a very small amount of liquid say 1500mgs in 100ml and this would be way more than 4 cups of 150ml each with a concentration of 50mgs per 100ml.

That’s funny. I guess hanging is like having a third hand.

I used to drink like a pot or more a day and get shit sleep. I think it’s what led me here honestly. I was turtling a lot through the day and having poor EQ. I quit coffee cold turkey and starting drinking just hot water and lemon for a few weeks and everything improved. If I needed a boost I’d do green tea in the late afternoon. I’ve fell off of that routine and got back on the coffee the past two weeks, but a cup a day only, two max and I eat a scoop of coconut oil before every cup to slow down digestion. No adverse effects like before.

I wonder if taking something like cayenne supplements would help to counteract the vascular constriction from caffeine?

No problem just don’t forget tea does have caffeine in it as well, not nearly as much as coffee though for the most part.

Honestly, I feel that if it’s in a moderate amount, caffeine shouldn’t be much of an issue at all, especially if you follow it up with a good amount of water throughout your day. It’s the heavy drinkers like me or groundswell that may really experience side effects.

I’m also on this routine mate, followed by a nicotine warm down! Very effective for dem gainz…

So if I’m drinking a lot of water, that my piss is essentially water. The caffeine won’t effect my penis much?

That’s what I’ve found. The vasoconstriction is a minor part of it, but it’s mostly that people drinking a lot of caffeine are drinking a lot of coffee or soda. If you’re drinking tea that’s basically water it won’t cause you to dehydrate and lose gains.

I did a 3 hour marathon pump session yesterday while drinking 3 litres of water in the first 2 hours. My sack was super plump and full. Then had a lady friend come over 15 mins after my last set and we downed a 26 of rum with five alive and a bottle of creamy Balieys with hot chocolate. This morning aside from still feeling beat up from all the action from last night I lost 80% of my gains.

I’m currently drinking more water but I plan on going to the hardware store today to get a cable clamp and some fittings that I need for a project. I’ll take some caffeine before I go, and try pumping when I get back and tell you if I notice anything?

I dont drink coffee or tea. My caffeine is from pre workout and caffeine tablets.

So I got back from the hardware store I didn’t know what size clamps to get so I got both. I took 300mg 2 hours ago and just did 3 sets of 15 in my new clamps. First time ever clamping but I like the results, I just wish I had a wrap to make things more comfortable. I’m gonna hop in the stj after dinner and see if I can make some gains.
