Hello all,

First of all, I want to tell you guys upfront that Thunder’s Place is the best forum I’ve seen till now: the quality of content and the valuable information provided by the members - both theoretical and experiential - is top-notch! Please please please keep up the good work!! There are billions of guys out there who need access to such useful information.

Quick Background about myself: I am a 28-year male from India. I have been doing PE for a year on and off, and more seriously, for the past one month. Although I have been a member here since the past 6 months, I have been lurking around here roughly for about a year, I would say.

I consider myself a pretty average sized guy - my stats a month back (when I started doing PE religiously): NBPEL - 5.2 inches; BPEL - 6.2 inches; MSEG - 4.6 inches

I haven’t measured ever since because I didn’t want to get into the habit of measuring again and again - which, I’ve read somewhere on this forum, has the propensity to turn into an obsession.

I am doing a basic routine:

  • Warm-up: 15-20 minutes. I use an IR lamp for warming up (Thank you Firegoat, for the wonderful advice regarding this device on the forums. :) )
  • Manual Stretching: 10 minutes.
  • Wet Jelqing: 10 minutes. (2-seconds per each hand stroke)
  • Edging Session: 10-15 minutes.

Now, I am thinking of including some mild Clamping into my routine (I need to get some girth). I couldn’t find the Cable Clamps advocated in the forum anywhere online in India. So, I am just wondering if anyone can help me out with this? (Note: I am skeptical about the cheap ones that I find online in Indian stores. Also, the shape of the clamp isn’t similar to the original Cable Clamp. So, I am also doubtful about its efficacy. (It would be really great if someone can validate/invalidate this doubt of mine.)

However, as you can see, the discussion is related to finding Cable Clamps in Germany.

So, my query is:

  • Does anyone know a place/store (preferably online) in India from where I can purchase a Cable Clamp?

Looks like having one medium clamp in the pack.

You need to do at least 2-3 months consistent PE to introduce clamping. Your routine sounds good. Make sure your jelqs are not too fast but rather thorough.
Stay consistent and you will gain.
The thing with measuring is that it can give you good indicators for temporary expansion to check if you need more or less intensity. Of course if you expect to have gained and then nothing is on the measure and you get downed by it then it isnt good.

Also, I appreciate your advice (short, crisp, and very pertinent points to be kept in mind). Your validation of the routine gives me the confidence to continue with my routine. :)

I’ll take your recommendation - I’ll start with clamping only after another 2 months of PE. But I am going to order the cable clamp right away :D

The viewpoint you put forward regarding taking measurements is quite interesting. Let me give it a spin.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".
