Bulge in groin

I searched on this and didn’t find anything.

Last night I did my usual clamping sessions (3 x 20 mins) and this morning with my morning wood, I had a ping-pong ball sized bulge in my groin on the right side of my erect penis. It wasn’t painful and it went away after about 10 seconds, but it freaked me out. Felt like a balloon under my skin.

Anyone else ever experience this?

Was it a displaced testicle?

Maybe you have a hernia.

That is the scariest thing I have read on here in awhile. Maybe it is an indicator of damage or blockage, you should try to rest and apply heat until you figure out what it was. So you felt it, did it feel like a soft squishy balloon or a firm hard balloon?

Sounds…well, scary. But no need to panic just yet. I recommend laying off PE, at least until tomorrow. In the morning, see if the bulge is there again. Could be fluid build up. Then again, the size of a ping pong ball? I am not that much into clamping, but I have never heard about something like that before.

The exact same thing happened to me after a clamp session, I was terrified. But it went away fast too, I think it was lymph fluid build up.


Now: NBPEL = 6.4 MSEG = 5.3 BEG = 5.75

Goals: NBPEL = 7.0 MSEG = 6.0

Have a doctor looks at it. To me it sounds like a hernia in your groin. It may have nothing to do with PE.

However I have to put my joke in.

“I just started doing PE and now I have a bulge in my groin.”

I thought that was what we were all after!

Are you a newbie? Newbies shouldn't be clamping. Too easy to get carried away and injure yourself.

Yep 20 minutes is far to long. 15 minutes should be the max and that’s if you’re clamping very lightly. Most people limit themselves to 10 minutes.

Was it really a pingpong ball sized lump? That just seems really freaky. I can’t imagine lymph fluid being so concentrated in that one area.

I’m not a newbie, just don’t post much because I only have a work laptop and family PC. I have to use my ipod or smartphone to post.

The lump felt like a balloon and it deflated quickly. No pain at all. Probably a lymph node as stated earlier.

Thanks for all the replies. I’ll cut back on the time if you and other senior members think it’s wise. I read a lot about clamping before I started and I thought 20 minutes was what I should work up to. Do you think 3 sets of 10 minutes is enough to get results?

I vote inguinal hernia, an intermittent one at that. Pain need not be present at all.

General rule when you’re scared something is seriously wrong, time to visit the doctor. Best case scenario it’s just fluid build up and will dissipate soon, worst case scenario it’s a hernia and needs to be surgically tucked in and allowed enough time to heal. I have had friends with hernias that say it’s just a minor surgery and no big deal, on the other hand I have heard about men dieing from untreated hernias. I agree with Audacia, 20 minutes is too long. At around 20 minutes nerves start to die and blood clots. Stay safe and listen to your body.

Woke up this morning with my usual 10 EQ morning wood and nothing was there. Hasn’t shown up after the first time. I going to take a week off and see how it goes.
