Broken blood vessels from manual stretching

Hi guys,

I have a couple of broken blood vessels from manual stretching. There’s this one that keeps coming back.
For now I guess I should just lay off the stretches and do longer warm-ups maybe?

I couldn’t find any threads dealing with broken blood vessels from stretching, is this because it’s uncommon?
How do you people try to prevent broken blood vessels?
Also, how serious of an injury is this?

Hi!

You had better to take as many days off as it’s required to get your unit healed. How much force have you used in stretching? I have had a few broken vessels (small vessels, capillary), but I can’t tell if it’s from stretching or jelqing cause I’m following by letter The Newbie routine. Remember to start real slow and give time to your unit to adapt for PE. Sometimes less is more.

I’m also still on the newbie routine. I don’t think I have been giving my unit a hard time at all so far but I’ll continue with only some mild jelqing till then.

Yes they did heal completely,but it took couple of days!
