How hard should you press,I press just too slightly or should I press till you can’t press anymore?

Don’t press too hard. Press until it hits the pubic bone.

Unless you are really close to the next inch/cm, then it is okay to press a little harder.

Press lightly now and just a little harder each month. It really helps with gains.

Seriously, push with enough force that you couldn’t push any more without pain. Then, practice often so you get consistent results.

Try measuring from the side also. There isn’t a fat pad there and it’s pretty accurate at tracking changes.

Then (4.5 nbpel x 4.75 mseg)

Now (5.625 nbpel, x 5.25 mseg)

You can also hold the ruler vertically. It will prevent you from pushing the ruler too far into/under your pelvis.
