Black bump

Black bump

Hi there friends. I need a little bit of your help. This is my second week doing the newbie routine and today I got this little black bump on the left side of my penis almost at the middle of the shaft. When I had 100 jelgs I was going to get more creme to put on and I saw this little spot that was inflamated and kind of black color. What could have happened. Was I putting too much pressure when doing the jelgs o what?? I stopped right away cause I got scared. Any idea.? Thanks.

It could just be a burst capillary. A little bit of blood may have gathered under the surface of the skin. Sometimes that will have a black color, especially if you have a darker complexion. You did the right thing by stopping. Give it a few days and see if it improves at all.

Starting measurements (August 2009): BPEL: 7.625in EG:6.25in BPFSL: 7.5in flaccid BP length:4in

"Peak" measurements (Oct. 2012): BPEL: 8in EG: 6.625in BPFSL: 8.375 in flaccid BP length: 6in

Current measurements (Nov. 2017): BPEL: 8in EG: 5.75in BPFSL: 8.25in flaccid BP length: 6in

Thanks btbassist. Yeah and that little bump felt like pinching for about 3 hours and also like numb sensation but it went away. Now about 10 later it just feels a little burning. But why do you think it happened. Too much pressure?

Too much pressure is the likely culprit, I’d say. The pinching followed by numb sensation sounds a little like you may have tweaked a nerve. The burning sounds even more like a nerve. I would definitely say take it down a notch (or two) on the pressure. I don’t jelq as much as a lot of the guys around here, but most of the guys who have gained from jelqing alone say that the pressure needed is not a whole lot initially. Just gently pushing the blood forward within the shaft is about all the pressure you want to start with is the theory most ascribe to.

Yeah, I have an idea. You are a newbie, you just joined this month, January. 100 jelqs, boom. What do you think what caused this?
You are not conditioned yet. Now you have to give yourself time to heal. This is why the vets here at Thunder’s Place post of the
importance of conditioning.

delcas33 heal yourself and when you come back, slow it down and work your way to more, slowly.

Take care,

Thanks guys for getting back to me. @ Tntjockey I was fallowing the newbie routine which it says 200 jelgs to start and even the first few times I did only 100 jelgs, But I think I was going a lil bit too fast. Now I’m going to rest a few days and start all over again but I know now I can’t put too much pressure when jelging.

Jelq slow and deliberately. Apply firm, but gentle pressure. Each stroke should be at least a few seconds long. I usually do a 5 count, a lot of guys say 3 seconds or so. So ease up on the pressure, and consider the 3-5 seconds per stroke. Bleeding, bruising, or the like are indicators of too much stress/pressure.

This thread sounds similar to your problem. Scary black bump!!

Yes sir brother, firm, but gentle pressure. You learned as I did as well. A good quality jelq and not many fast ones. One good quality jelq 15 or 25 times is better than
100 fast jelqs.

BTBassist, I really appreciate your post, what we as vets have learned. Too fast can hinder gaines. BTBassist, I would like to hear from you some more as a mentor.
Your jelqing technique is what I had to learn. I aslo believe the Bleeding, bruising is the start of discoloration.

Once again, awesome post and thank you

Thanks.

I jelq very little, but that in particular I believe to be true. That kind of tissue damage is probably never a good thing, you know? I’m doing the more “advanced” stuff these days. But had I done them early on, I probably would have broke my cock. I’m definitely running the marathon, and not worried about sprinting. I have just in the past 6 months or so figured out what methods work for me. EQ is great, and to me that is the biggest benefit. More size is nice, but my current size rock hard is rarely complained about.
