You think so? A lot of the stuff they cover seems to be pretty accurate. Debunking ghosts, conspiracy theories and stuff. What don’t you like about it?

I didn’t like the one they had regarding acupuncture.

Well, let’s see, there’s Penn and then there’s Teller, and then there is the Bullshit. That about covers it. The little guy should go out on his own with a tanker of blood, it would make more entertaining television.

You’re not actually giving any reasons for not liking the show, which leads me to believe you have some bias against them, and haven’t really seen the show. Give it a watch, ‘cause they usually make really good points with a lot of stuff. It’s based on science, rationality and logic.

Of course, they did have an episode on PE with jelqing, pumping, and pills used, and reported no change in any of the men. A doctor measured. They only checked length, and it was only for 6-8 weeks though, so I’d guess that either A) you guys are all making this up (hope not, doubt it), or B) they obviously needed to do the damn experiment for longer than 2 months.

Why not? I don’t think I saw that one yet, to be honest.

Alma, aren’t the pictures proof enough? I think that even seeing this site exists is proof enough. Sure, skepticism is great and all, but there are times when you need to see what is in front of you. I am not trying to say you don’t actually think this, but I am just having some fun! It is an interesting show, but there are times when I don’t agree with them. When this happens, it is hard to take an objective stance.

Oh, I said the same thing. They’re not always right. But they might also not know you need to take months on end to see the results of PE. And I don’t know enough about acupuncture to comment, but recently I read something in support of it, and it sounded scientifically valid. Maybe the “spiritual” aspect is bull, but there are certain nerve bundles (I think that’s what it was) where applied pressure can lead to relief. Kind’ve like trigger point therapy, maybe?

Like I said, the show is Bullshit.

I think the reason we have nipples is to attract the opposite sex, I mean we would look pretty stupid without nipples.

This has been a very interesting and amusing topic however, there are several aspects of having a foreskin which have not been mentioned so far and which many cut men are in ignorance of. This is important because this procedure is often carried out needlessly without anaesthetic on tiny boys who never get the chance to decide if they actually want to be mutilated in this way. In societies where the norm is to circ. Babies there is much ignorance about what the foreskin really is so mothers cannot make an informed decision for their sons later sexual well being.

The foreskin is NOT just a piece of skin,.it has it’s own blood supply system with veins and blood cells and is VERY sensitive to stimulation having a similar collection of nerve endings to the glans. This makes the foreskin a highly erotic organ in it’s own right. The feeling of any stimulation of the foreskin is distinctly different to stimulation of other parts of the penis and this changes again as erection tightens the foreskin around the glans.

I have a long foreskin which makes a small ‘bunched’ projection off the head when not erect. This is as shown typically in Greek staues. Any light brushing of the outer soft end of my foreskin is a highly erotic feeling which brings me to erection very quickly. The sensitive area is in the outer edge of the hood where the skin starts to turn inside. As I get erect the glans fills out my hood and this sensitive edge is stretched around the glans and become even more sensitive to stimulation. The foreskin acts as a sort of preparatory erotic zone and then, once erection is established, as another ring of nerve endings stretched around the penis below the sensitive ‘rim’ of the head/glans.

Obviously, I cannot know what it is like to be without my foreskin, but I can easily understand that without it stimulation would be far less in area and very different in it’s quality. Incidentaly, although circumcision is rare here in the UK and only carried out on indigenous boy babies for medical reasons, the surgeons frequently try to retain a fold of foreskin below the glans so that the nerve endings of the area around the frenulum are retained. This is not as photogenic as the ‘American’ circ. So prevalent in US porn videos, but is presumably more sensitive in adulthood.

As regards to cleanliness, it is true that the foreskin is a potential trap for bacteria and requires frequent care, however, I have personally met more than one woman who had an equal ‘problem’..

Some of the downsides of foreskin ownership are that the glans is very sensitive as the hood is pushed back and if it comes into contact with clothing or female fingernails during foreplay this is quite offputting! Condom use is MUCH more difficult than it would be with the foreskin removed as you not only need to get things on in the right place but the hood must be carefully placed also. As the foreskin slides during intercourse so the condom slides against the foreskin which can easily get awkward. The biggest danger with a foreskin which hangs off the head of the penis is that it is all too easy to accidentally catch it in ones fly zip, as I once did on a dark mountainside while wearing several layers of arctic clothing,.you only make this mistake once however as the word ‘agony’ does not begin to cover the subject!!

The attitudes of women to foreskins is a whole topic in itself,.I recently read about an American woman who had had both her sons circd. But secretly harboured a desire to have sex with an uncircd. Man because foreskins are so “disgustingly filthy and degenerate”.

After watching this,
en

I no longer will listen to a thing that Penn and Teller say. That entire show is so completely wrong, it is ridiculous. It begs the question: who does the fact checking at “Bullshit”?

This Penn and Teller stuff should’ve been in it’s own thread it’s way off topic. Please start a new thread.

I imagine the American attitude toward the male forskin is very similar to the attitude in cultures where female circumcision is performed. As it is, I love labia and find them very attractive, feminine, and would find their absense very unattractive. However, if I was raised in culture where standard procedure whenever a girl is born is that her labia get cut off, then I suppose if I was to see an uncut vagina then I would think the meat curtains were very off-putting and uselessly extraneous.

Bugleone, as a fellow uncut man (mom is from Europe - would have never let me been cut) I second your opinion on how valuable the sensitivity of the foreskin is — I’m very conscious of the sensations derived only from it’s presence. It’s sad how cut men never had the opportunity to realize how much sensitivity is in the foreskin and that this fact alone has made the continuation of the practice possible.

I knew someone was going to try to argue this eventually :P.

Female circumcision and male circumcision are two completely different topics. Trying to relate them doesn’t work because the genitals in both sexes are completely different in many ways, and because male circumcision does no severe damage in most cases. Female circumcision causes extreme damage and takes away ALL sexual pleasure for the female.

The differences between a cut and uncut penis are quite minor compared to female circumcision differences.
