Best way to stretch

Whats the best way to stretch? I’m talking about the grip and where to grip it and what direction. Obviously there are numerous stretching threads and I read quite a few, but I think this would be easier for everyone, thanks

Have you read LOT theory? That may provide some guidance about which direction to stretch in, although not everyone agrees that the theory is very helpful.
