As is often the case I’ve been a member here for longer than I care to admit, even though it is in my user profile, and I haven’t done anything related to PE in just as long.

I recently gained some extra time in my day and dedicated the majority of it to working out in the gym for the rest of my body. I also decided to dedicate some of that time to PE, because well, why not?

I’m 6.5” EL and about 6” to 6.5” in girth. Overall, I’m pretty well satisfied with myself, but I want just a little bit more. Possibly 7” x 7” or so.

Anyhow, after much reading, and watching of the technique videos, today I began the Newbie Routine. 5 minutes of hot wrap. 3 sets of each of the basic manual stretches, each for 30 seconds. And wet Jelqs.

But I didn’t even make it to 25 jelqs before I started noticing the little red spots and a couple of bigger ones, perhaps 1 half millimeter square or less in size. Needless to say I stopped right there, applied the hot wrap for another 5 minutes and called it a day. After re-reading the thread about Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to help growth! I realized that what I saw is a Neutral PI, though at the time I thought it was a negative PI. I do not regret my decision to stop today.

But it got me thinking. For this to have occurred so quickly, I must have done something wrong. my first thought is that I am applying too much pressure when I squeeze to perform the jelq stroke. The second is more of a question. Should the non-stroking hand be used to keep the skin of my shaft from moving about? While jelqing today, I allowed the skin to move freely and as you might expect it was gathering towards the head. Could this, combine with too high of an erection percentage have caused the spots?

Based on todays experience, as well as previous attempts at PE discovered that while jelqing I have a dificult time keeping anything less than a 90% erection. This is because I get a touch too excited about what I am doing and what it will do for me. Maintaining proper form and timing is very important to me as I want to do this correctly. But should I also do something to take my mind a bit away from this? Like watch the news?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. And as soon as I can get a good chance to measure, I will get starting numbers up for you and me to track my progress.

Ok, I really would like a length of 7” and want to have the 6.5” girth all the way down. My girth tapers towards the base to some where around 5.5 or so. After doing some reading, I think I know what I did wrong today. Tomorrow, I will keep a hand at the base of the shaft to keep the skin in place while jelqing. This should prevent the problem I had today. I will also take it easy on the pressure I exert and go slow enough between strokes to not get so full an erection.

Any other advice?

I’m about 4 months in now and had this same problem when I first started. It turned out to be a combination of to high of an erection level, allowing the skin to be to loose and a lack of proper lubrication. So, you’re basically correct. As for being to hard, I would take it easy at first, and after awhile it won’t be as exciting and you’ll be able to work on you’re technique a little more. Maybe someone with a little more experience can help you out more. That’s all I’ve got. Good luck and keep trying.

Some discourage it but ejaculating before a session can help with jelqing at a safe erection level. Especially for a newbie, anything over 50% can possibly lead to injury in my opinion. And jelqing at 30-40% is better for length gains. The key is some shrivel up and go away after ejaculating and have no desire to PE. But if that is not a problem for you, it may be worth a try. Some say after a while, you get used to jelqing and are able to control erections but some dudes are ultra sensitive/horny.

As for grip, I’ve read it’s best to imagine jelqing an egg you don’t want to break. Using plenty of lube in the beginning helps to prevent excessive gripping.

So, I really don’t need to exert very much pressure on my own. Especially if I’m trying to not break a proverbial eggs shell. I’ll keep that in mind tomorrow when I give this another go.

I’m committed. I’ve given myself 3 months to see if anything happens. I’m on a very long term business trip that has me traveling on average 2 times each week. Since I have a lot of time available to me, I figured I would work on my penis. I’m much thicker near the head than I am at the base and would like to even things out a bit. But then again, I would also like a bit more everywhere else too.

I haven’t been peing for long but I would just let go of your dick, let it subside, look away from your penis and think about other stuff. You know like work or school or something. 90% + is not a good idea. Injury with erect jelqs

90% is pointless. If you can’t control your erection level then the whole point of the jelq is lost. Your creating pressure, but nothing worthwhile. Guys who do a lot of jelqing say it takes time to master the technique.

If you’re jelqing at 90% it’s no surprise you’re getting the little red dots so easily.

Try masturbating 20 minutes before a jelq session to help control your erection level during the jelqing.

Ok here are my stats.

EL = 6.5”
EG = 6 1/8th ” (biggest)
EG Base = 6”

Like I said, I’m not looking for anything major, just something to give myself a little ego boost and prove to myself that this stuff actually works.

I made it through my stretch and jelq newbie routine today! Roughly 80 stokes per side (left hand vs right hand) and no trouble that I can see so far. I had to stop every 5 to 10 strokes to let my erection subside to a usable level. Thats not something I thought I would ever say, but hey, I find it funny.

In any case, I would label today a success. Though I still have to do my Kegels, which I will do as soon as I finish typing here.

It also occurs to me to mention that my length is Non Bone Pressed. That measurement has never meant anything to me. I’m quite lean and have nothing to mention of a “fat pad”. Hell, most people I know call me skinny.

If I go base my thinking on what is posted here: Penis Size: The True Average I realize that I am already quite big to begin with. Which makes me begin to wonder…. If UkranianTitan at 5.5 EG Does anyone else think 5.5 girth is pretty damn big and Big Dipper is wondering if a 7x6 is big 7x6 Large or what? , is my ques to to go 7x7 or possibly longer unrealistic or unnecessary?

I want to get bigger to satisfy myself. Lord only knows I get to have sex very rarely, so any size increase is really only for me and me alone. Would anything more than I already have be getting into the realm of impractical?

If you get a penis that’s bigger than 6 inches in girth you’re going to be having sex even MORE rarely. It’s the upper limit for plenty of girls.

Also, even if it is just for you, remember the quality of any blowjobs you may recieve will decrease or cease entirely. Also anal will go out of the equation.

Many people on Thunder’s strive for 6 EG as an upper limit. But if you still feel it necessary then by all means, build a beast!

If I were you, personally I’d leave my girth as is and gain in the length department.

Thats exactly what I am starting to realize.

Given that its been so very sadly long since the last time I had sex, I really didn’t realize what I’ve already got. From everything I am reading here, the girth that I happen to have is quite good, and it makes the length look shorter than it really is. So…. EGO BOOST! Which is something I really needed!

That said, I guess I really do only need that half inch or so of length. In which case I will work on length, and not focus girth. I’ll also be working on EQ. My typical EQ is pretty good, but it could be great. I’ve got a pump back at home which I have used occasionally, and while in it can get some amazing wood. Outside the pump is still great, but not “Holy Hard-On of Amazing”. Which is something else I would like to go for.

I’m distantly recalling trying PE back when I was 20 or 21. I was foolish enough to try the penis pills, and wasted a good bit of cash on them too. All I got from them was an pathetic explanation of how to jelq, and a lighter wallet. I wonder if I got to where I am from the stretching and jelqing I performed then?

A return to these forums after a long time away has raised some interesting questions to my mind.

On a whim I decided to take some measurements this morning (represented in my most recent PE Stats), and to my surprise, my measurements are down since the last time I made an entry here at Thunder’s.

Theoretically, since March of 2015, I’ve lost half an inch in both girth and length. Visually, I still look good, so that’s a plus, but I need to get to work on my EQ as well as regaining some lost size. I don’t need much, but I’d rather not regress anymore than I already have.

Well, welcome back! It seems as though regaining the “lost inches” is easier than gaining them in the first place. I’m betting that the newbie routine will get your EQ back up to snuff and will also get back the lost size. Good luck!
