Beginner questions before potentially starting routine

Hello everyone,

I’ve known about the concept of natural penis enlargement for about 2 years (forums mentioning jelqing and Bathmate) and am finally considering trying it out. I’ve done some preliminary research and plan on doing more if I decide to try it out, however I would like to ask some questions to experienced PE users.

My goal is fairly simple and hopefully realistic. I am currently about 5.2 NBPEL x 4.75-5 EG. If I began PE, my goal would be to reach ~6 NBPEL and potentially have some increase in girth (not required but definitely appreciated). Given those measurements, what would be my best course of action? I was thinking using an extender/stretcher on a daily basis would help reach that length (VacExtender, Phallosan, Andropenis), although I have no idea which one would work best for me. Also, assuming I used an extender, would I lose any girth due to elongation?

I am very open to suggestions from experienced members so hopefully I can begin and see the results I want.

To start with mate I wouldn’t use any of those devices. Just stick to manual exercises for the time being like jelqs and stretching. There free and they work.

You won’t lose any girth with the extender. It will seem thinner when it gets longer but it’s strictly a perception matter. Start with the linear routine then with the newbie. If they don’t get you where you want to go then spent some money.

The only thing giving me some apprehension towards a jelqing/exercise routine is the risk of serious injury. Am I wrong in thinking that using an extender properly would be safer than jelqing?

If you are sensible I cannot possibly see how you could cause serious injury jelqing.Heat area first and just do slow wet jelqs do not grip to tight. I have never used an extender so I can not comment on that.

If you injure yourself the only thing you will need to do is take some time off, until you heal. It’s very simple. Think of it as a normal exercise injury. If you ask me, there is absolutely no risk to seriously injure your penis with pe. Injure it yes. Cripple it never. Unless you bang it every day with a hammer…. Actually it will heal even then.

With jelqing, stay away from putting pressure on the upper side of your penis and you ‘ll be perfectly fine. You can not ignore jelqing. It’s the king of pe, for me.

Absolutely.. These two guys know exactly what they are talking about.. I used an extender for 4 months religiously and only saw very slight BPFSL gains but none by way of length and very little girth. Do the linear routine before spending the money, but if you must buy one go with phallosan.. But dude I’m not staring you wrong by saying do manual stretches and jelqs.. If you can have sex without injury you can pull and jelqs without injury as well.. Be safe, be practical, and stay PEing

That makes a lot of sense, I appreciate you all taking the time to give me some advice.

I reviewed the linear routine and noticed there were a lot less jelqs done (~10-20 at first then incrementing by 10 every 3 workouts) compared to some other routines I’ve seen (recommending 15 minutes of jelqing). Is the linear routine effective in that regard despite the much smaller amount of jelqing?

Lastly, do any of you have any good resources giving a tutorial on how to most effectively and safely perform a jelq?

I’m not sure about a tutorial except the ones provided here.. And as for gains on the linear.. You might experience slight gains of 1/4 inch but probably for hopes sake don’t count on it considerably.. It’s mainly to get you conditioned for future gains

I’m interested to hear what impact circumcision has in this instance. It hasn’t even crossed my mind that it might make a difference. (Also bill10, I’ve seen your posts and consider you quite knowledgeable, if you get a chance to check out some questions I put in my first post, I would definitely value your thoughts!)

I know there are good tutorials on jelqing right here at Thunders-place. As far as safety goes, I think the biggest thing I have noticed in starting up is my grip strength makes a difference, and it seems that it would be pretty easy to potentially injure yourself that way. Grip is key from what I’ve read, and I’m still honing in on the best for me. I also think you simply have to feel comfortable, you should probably know if you’re over-pushing yourself. This is just a humble combination of what I’ve read and tried so far, I’m always open to correction! Good luck to you fellow PE-er!

Linear routine then move onto newbie routine. The low reps are definitely for conditioning, think of it like going to the gym, if your new to an exercise your not going to go in and be able to do big weight or even a lot of reps. Conditioning is very important! As said, always use heat before doing any pe, it’s a good idea to apply heat after a pe session as well. Leave the devices till your more conditioned and your having trouble continuing to gain from traditional manual pe. With your goals you stated, you should be able to actually obtain those results with just manual exercise and a bit of time, dedicated and “hard” work.

I’m sure as you meet your goals you’ll become part of the group here and continue on, pe can become some what of an addiction! And for good reason! ;)

I am circumcised, would that make some difference?

I tried jelqing for the first time in the shower after warming it up out of curiosity and then using some lubrication. Maybe I’m not fully understanding the concept, but it doesn’t feel like I’m doing much. I made sure I was about 40-60% erect, but it seemed like I wasn’t doing it properly. I guess it’s hard to explain but I was having trouble getting my fingers to the base properly and as I pushed up it would pull some of scrotum and shaft skin up, essentially making it hard to smoothly jelq, if that makes any sense. Should I make sure on hand is stretching my penis out while I jelq with the other, and then once I get about halfway I put my other hand at the base?

To any one who is cut. You can’t do dry jelqing. It’s physically impossible to do it right cause you need foreskin. Only wet jelqs for you.
