Beginner Question

I’ve been doing the Newbie routine for about four weeks now. In the first couple weeks I noticed a longer, more full flaccid, and was very excited. However, the last couple weeks my penis has been turtling after workouts. I had been going four or five days on and one off in the beginning, but I switched to three on one off, then two on one off. I’ve noticed definite positive EQ, stiffer erections and more definition in veins, but if I’m not erect, my penis tends to turtle instead of being a stretchy flaccid like I want it to be. I decreased my intensity while jelqing to try to get rid of the turtling problem, but it didn’t seem to make a difference. Should I get a stretcher sleeve to try and remedy the turtling? Or should I consider taking more days rest? I also have only gotten morning wood like once in the last two weeks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Clearly overtraining.

Stop completely for a week. You rushed it.

Then try 1day on 1 day off.


BPEL 7 EG 5.5 NBPEL 6.5 Flaccid length 4.5. Started Jan 2015 at bpel 6.5 nbpel 6.0 and eg 5.2 flaccid length was 3.5

OK, thank you. I really don’t want to start out on a bad track, should I try to refrain from sex in the meantime too? Does sex or masturbation slow down the healing process?

Masturbation definitely does. Sex may but just take a few days off and recover somewhat. It is never good to put off your sex life but masturbation and PE definitely should wait.

OK, I’m taking the week off, maybe 8 or 9 days just to be sure. I’ll definitely start going to a 1 on 1 off routine, should I also continue to use decreased intensity while manual stretching and jelqing? Or start out with lower lengths of time? I was doing about 10 minutes of each, is that perhaps too long for a novice? What kinds of signs should I be looking for to check if the new routine is working and how long should I stay there until I increase?
