Hello everybody, my name is Spenny. I’m 19 years old and have a size inferiority complex like many of the visitors on this site. I discovered this site only hours ago and was very impressed by the wealth of information people can provide. Before I visited, I basically had it in my head that your penis size was your penis size and that nothing (pills/creams/stretching exercises/devices) short of surgery would increase the length of my penis. I read about some ways to measure your penis in its various states, so if you don’t mind I’m going to share a couple stats:

Erection length: ~6”
BPFSL: 6”

What exactly does this mean if my EL and BPFSL are basically the same? What does a newbie need to start with to increase length? I’m mostly referring to hand stretching exercises or buying a couple wooden dowels to jelq with, or even making a cheap long term sort of stretching device you can wear. At this point I’m somewhat satisfied with my erectile girth, recently measured at 5.1-5.2 at best, but then again I used a headphone cord to measure, which isn’t the proper way to measure so I read, so I might remeasure using a piece of string/measuring tape/sheet of toilet paper if I need to. I’ve read briefly about the various pre-stretch routines, the trademark techniques to stretch your penis, and retaining your gains once you’re satisfied.

I’ve read that 6” is relatively average, but I’m no average guy haha, as I’m assuming many people on this forum aren’t either; I’ve always lived to be above average: academics, height (for my age when I was younger, I think I was around 6’ in middle school), test grades, physical performance (always the one to run a little faster than the rest or a for a little longer), soccer (favorite sport :) ), and general likeability. I don’t mean to sound like some sort of elitist, competition is just sort of my lifestyle.

I’m happy to have found this site because now I feel like there’s hope to be able to increase my penis size with hard work and time.

So now that you know me a little bit, anything you fellows suggest that a newbie can do to start increasing erectile length? I’m not saying I want to be the outlier 9” monster weiner, just a possible 1-1.5 inch gain with maybe a smidge of girth gain (all a guy really wants to say is he’s slightly above average).

Also, if one would be so kind, could you possibly put a list of all the abbreviations that the forum regularly uses, such as BPFSL - bone pressed flaccid stretched length? I looked at the FAQ briefly to make sure I’m not missing it but I didn’t find a table or key.

I recommend the linear or newbie routine. Also any abbreviations that you see with dotted lines under them like BPEL, you can hover your mouse over BPEL and it will tell you what it means.

Oh and by the way, 6 inches BPEL and 5 inches MS-EG is average.

Thanks for that obie :) . Very helpful, but I was hoping I could get a table of the abbreviations so I could use them myself instead of picking them up as I go haha.

The second or third item in the link that Obie1 gave you is a glossary which you’ll find useful. Or you can hover your cursor over the acronym and you’ll see what it is.

Hi Spanny (Spenny?) and welcome to the forum.

While this site is amazing, it can be overwhelming. If you haven’t seen, please check out my site (in my signature). It will take only a few minutes to cruise through the whole thing. It’s fairly focused and concise, and with 17 years of PE experience, I’ve had some time to think about this stuff.

You’re lucky ;-) I’ve written this quite a few times lately, but I introduced the “dead stretch” (now BPFSL) in the late ‘90’s. I had learned to stretch my flaccid penis so that it approximated my erect length, and found that very convenient instead of getting a hard-on after each weight hanging session, since the “real” measurement to me was EL. I measured a lot.

I insisted recently here that BPFSL is an otherwise meaningless measure, but some guys have said—makes sense—that a longer BPFSL acts as a “taste of things to come” in EL. I now measure immediately before and after each session, even if it’s only a couple minutes, to see how much change I can get in BPFSL. Long stretches, for example, tend to give me a shorter “after” measurement, so I’m not doing them now.

Let us know if your parity disappears with practice. Might be very interesting!

No no no to dowels: I introduced them in 2001, and upon revisiting them earlier this year found them way too powerful, which is why I recommend what I have on my site for a hanger, which can also be used for jelq sticks, but I removed that last time I re-did the site because I now see no need for jelq sticks at all.

Give it a couple of months with just your hands, the ultimate practical approach. The grip I show on my site makes it almost impossible to hurt yourself, which is possible with more typical jelq instructions.

FWIW, I’ve never had to think about retaining gains, and there have been long stretches where I did very little if anything.

Fair enough: 1.25” erect length and 1” erect girth gain in four months; 50% increase in flaccid length: beat that! :D

In my experience, girth comes along with length.

All a guy wants to say is he's slightly above average? Clear you haven’t been on Thundersplace very long; guys here want slightly above average dongs of GODS!
