Like the title says I have been a member here for awhile but have never been able to totally commit and dedicate myself to a routine.

This time I’m really going to give this a go and stay with it. First question I have is I”m really only trying to get girth gains. I was wondering what the best exercises are for a newbie who’s more concerned with girth gains than anything else?

Jelqs. You’ll probably get some length out of them without trying, but I don’t think there is a better way to get girth.

If you follow the advice of the experts and don’t over do it, low vacuum pumping also looks like it works for many folks. I’m partial to exercises that don’t require any effort, so I’ve considered adding that to my routine. Save that for later though, and start with jelqs.

Hi wadeb21, I’m just like you. I have been a member here for awhile, and I Know and learn about PE a long time before that, but without stick to any real work.

But about a week ago, I decided that I should start work on this issue. So, I return to this forum and start reading to prepare myself.

I think that in order to stick to a PE routine you should be an active member of this forum, which gives the needed motivation.

Actually, My first post yesterday on this great forum was yesterday, which I think is the first step to a long run PE commitment.

Getting to know some of the guys and starting a progress thread are also great motivators. I think most of us lean on each other for motivation to keep going.

Also, please DON’T get discouraged if you don’t gain in these 3 months. Gaining girth isn’t that easy and often takes advanced routines to accomplish. Nonetheless, these 3 months of the newbie routine is crucial for conditioning yourself for such exercises. That’s not to say you can’t gain girth from jelqing, but it’s hit-or-miss for most. I gained 1/8” mid-shaft and 1/4” at my largest part in the first month of jelqing and hoping it continues, minus the baseball bat effect :)

Wow, this thread was very encouraging, very inspirational. I’ve been here for a nice while as well, but never slowed down long enough to really get into P.E. Starting Monday, I’ll take it seriously, and perhaps post more. Thanks for the thread.
