I realize that people are concerned with the baseball effect by jelqing, but how do you increase your base girth manually? I am already beginning to see a slight increase in girth around my mid shaft, but no improvement at my base, and I was just curious on how people eliminate this issue

Musicman, once you are conditioned enough, some clamping will deff. help your base girth. I also saw a noticable difference with 440’s.

I have read that reverse jelqing works, but I am not sure if that is a true statement. Try a search on reverse jelqing.

I only hang straight down. I started see base girth hanging for 60 minutes a day (four 15 minute sessions)with about 15 pounds

Do you do 15 mins x 4 straight? How long do you rest between seesions? How long do you need to start seeing base girth gain?

I do 15 mins for SL & SR, then a 10 mins SD.

I think to gain the base I need an extra lig pull on both side, SD pull both ligs at the same time, thus dividing the weight, while SL & SR just put the whole weight on single side.

It depends which part is the skinniest, I have bat shape that my base is the skinniest, so I have to hang and just start base jelq (told by Yoyototo) to prevent further bat shape.

I work mornings and nights so, for a 60 minute day workout, I warm up, do a 15 minute session, then rest for about ten minutes and then I do another session and I am done for the morning. I do the same at night. It is a very feasible routine.

Every angle can be good to “divide and conquer” but it depends a lot on the type of weight one uses. To me, working different angles with 15 pounds is too heavy, but as I can manage to work with that weight SD, for as long as I keep seeing some results, I will continue.

Also, I think that base girth also needs tunica to expand, thus, I am not sure working solely on ligs will do the job.
