Could someone please fully explain ballooning to me, I have searched and read about it but still don’t quite understand.

From what I can gather it is just masturbating without ejaculating, if so, what happens if you do your “ballooning” for about a week and them ejaculate after that week, will that mean that you will have lost all of your progress and gains?

I’m not totally clear on this either, but I think it’s a matter of stopping ejaculation (a few times in a session) while at the same time massaging around the base of the penis, especially the underside. There’s a certain spot there - you will know when you find it! I believe the idea is to bring some of the “hidden penis” out of the body cavity and into the glorious light of day, over time. But, being a relative noob myself, I’ll wait for the veterans to chime in and let me know if I have any of this right - and if anyone has experience of ballooning giving actual permanent gains. I find it gives a temporary gain during sex, since after all you are biggest when you are close to orgasm. Haven’t been doing it long enough to know if there are long term gains.

I’ve heard mixed definitions.

Some claim that ballooning is wanking over a long period of time (generally mid-shaft or towards the base) and stopping yourself when you get close to ejaculation. Repeat the process.

Others claim that ballooning is wanking but training yourself not to cum, which sounds an awful lot like dry orgasms.

Take your pick. I used to do a combination of the two, for experimentation purposes. I’d do the first and at the end I would have a dry orgasm. Then I’d stretch and massage. After the dry orgasm, the penis is so easy to mold and use without much worry of getting hard at all. However, I stopped when I heard rumors that dry orgasms could be harmful.

Any gains during the experimental time frame with that can’t be qualified. I only tried it for a few weeks. Even without statistical gains to support it, there are a few obvious advantages to it.

First, you’re keeping blood flowing into the penis for an extended amount of time. Not just a little bit of blood, as much blood that your penis can handle as it is in its full erection state. And it’s not trapping blood into the penis like a cock ring or a clamp would do. You’re actually circulating blood through the penis, which sounds much more effective when you consider the nutrients oxygenated blood brings to cells versus trapping de-ox blood. Over time, this could cause your penis to adjust to the constant demand of being engorged. Whether it actually increases erect or flaccid girth (or length for that matter), I can’t say without continuing the experiment again.

Second, as I mentioned above, after the dry orgasm, your penis is like play-dough. I don’t know of the exact physiological reason for why it becomes so easy to mold, but it does. It’s still pumped with blood that hangs there for a long time. The tissues seem to be expanded, warmed up, and it lasts for a while. Perfect for stretches and massaging. If you wanted to have an awesome flaccid hang for a moment (just to experience awe as you look in the mirror and hold it as a trophy), I’d suggest giving it a go.

Third, I think this has helped cure some premature ejaculation problems. It makes perfect sense. You’re training yourself not to ejaculate. You gain control.

However, I stopped this when I heard that it could cause damage to the prostate. I’m not willing to trade quick gains for bodily harm. If anyone can dispel this rumor, I’d be glad to continue the experimentation because I think it could have potential in helping gains.

Kingpole seems to be the expert on this, so hopefully he will contribute. If I understand it, the idea is to use the magic button at the base of the penis to stimulate a strong erection, and keep it erect. It is on the top against the pubic bone.

At the same time you can stimulate the penis, but avoid the area on the underside immediately behind the glans; this is the spot which will stimulate orgasm and ejaculation, and which gives some of the strongest feelings during sex. So it can be difficult to keep the organ stimulated and erect.

It is a time consuming method, because the idea is to take advantage of the effect of natural erection, and the longer it is held the better. Certainly if you feel an ejaculation coming you would stop stimulating, but you shouldn’t ejaculate if you don’t touch that special spot around the frenum.

Sort of. Like Braingasm said, you use the base of the penis and you do this for very long periods of time. For me, I had sessions that lasted around 45 minutes before I decided to stop. The trick is to not ejaculate, but good focus over time will teach you how to prevent it.
