You could also have a black eye for 6 years to if you walked into the same wall every day.

I’ve seen few reports of “cemented” gains and a lot of posts on people loosing their gains after stoping PE entirely, which would seem to me to suggest that a lot of the gains from current PE methods are from keeping the penis in a perpetual injured/swollen state.

I’m not suggesting there’s anything wrong with that or that it doesn’t “count” as gains. A bigger dick is a bigger dick, and that’s why we’re all here. Well, that’s why I’m here anyway.

You should think about it more like a “stretched penis/ligament” . Just think about gymnasts and such: their ligaments are looser and maybe longer , but once they stop stretching they lose some “gains”. Also , my opinion is that PE should be done continuously even after you achieve your goals but with a less frequency.

Starting stats: 6.4" / 5.6" Current Stats: 7.4" / 5.8" Short term goal: 7" / 6" Long term goal: 8" / 6.5"

If you walked into the same wall everyday you wouldn’t have just a black eye after six years.

I couldn’t agree more.

I think the swelling accounts for most of the girth and stretching ligaments accounts for most the length. That’s my opinion from what I’ve learned so far. Neither are permanent, but both can be maintained.

It’s the concept of “cemented gains” that’s been bugging me. I think commercial sources combine the relativly short term gain of ligament stretching with the probable sounding scientific theory of permanent cell division to convince us that extender results are permanent. I know even lig stretching takes time but it seems to me that it would take infinitely longer to grow just by the cell division theory alone.

I would rather know from the start that the bulk of what I was gaining needed to be maintained so I didn’t take a break, lose it all and turn into someone who suddenly debunks PE entirely. Which I’m sure has happened to many people.

Ha! Of course you’d have to watch your PIs.

If any negative PIs started to show I would suggest taking a few days off or walk into the wall a little slower.

:)

I doubt the concept of ‘cementing gains’ is born on any commercial site - I think it was born right on TP, and not based on theories or such but just on empirical (although anecdotal) observations : those who dropped PE - say a week after touching their max length- lost those gains fast; those who did go on for a month or alike, had durable gains.

My opinion is summed here
marinera - Are gains permanent?
and hasn’t much changed.

Lil12 stopped PE for 4 years and most of his gains remained
lil12big1 - lil1’s Progress Report

Other people lost most of their gains after ceasing any PE for prolonged time.

Since we are doing PE for penile health, I’d suggest doing a minimal amount of PE for the rest of your life, so the problem isn’t that big.

I just meant that my first experiences with researching PE brought me to the commercial extenders and all their “science”, which seemed to make sense at the time.

Then I found TP and realized that commercial claims of “why it works” are a result of them picking and choosing which parts of science that suits them. Theories that I have no doubt we originated here.

Regardless, I came here slightly brainwashed that cell growth was the only way the penis grew (I didn’t know anything about stretching ligaments yet) so loss of gains didn’t make sense to me and I almost dismissed the whole idea of PE.

Thanks for the links marinera.

No problem.

Maybe it is basically a matter of luck, like many other things in life. Like those people who seems able to eat everything without becoming fatter and the fat guy.

Anyway, I’m proud to announce that, with the goal of solving definitively this enigma, I started the DYPTTP Foundation. First donator will receive as a gift a condom with the TP logo.

Forgot :the Donate Your Penis To Thunders’ Place Foundation. Guess it was clear though. :)

So does PE work ? I saw many guys here who have gained up to 3 inches in length and 2 in girth.fake?

Welcome, Philosopher!

I think the best answer to that question will come through your own experience. Do a lot of reading before you start doing PE, be careful once you start PE, be patient and persistent, and see what results you get.

Ultimately, I may never know whether PE works for anyone else. All I really know is that it works for me - but that’s enough.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

Thank you!

I read for about 2 months and will continue reading.I have started with some jelqs to prepare my unit for clamping.

Good to hear it works for you.

Whine, whine, moan, moan. So we have to keep PE’ing to keep significant gains, so what? We have to keep exercising to stay fit, keep eating and breathing so we don’t die, etc. Who cares?

All things are possible. Not all are probable, but all are possible. A doctor’s word shouldn’t always be the end all be all, anyone with some common sense knows that. The medical field contradicts itself all the time, new discoveries, etc. All of us here that have experienced gains know that PE is real, and we will keep doing it and keep being bigger than you pussies who give up just because some random doctor says “herp derp impossible” just like every other doctor. So what? We know it’s not impossible because we’ve all performed scientific experiments on ourselves that conclude otherwise. Have they? I seriously doubt it.
