Avg Hours required for Stretching gains?

I am planning to start a new length routine next week. I am trying to find how many hours of stretching on average a day would yeild optimal gains? Personal experiences are welcome or anyone can comment on what they have read from others. I have gained 0.5” length ever since I started, I want to hit atleast 9” by year end. I am willing to invest the required time, AM and PM, for as many days as it takes. I dont own any device so im relying on manual work. Thanks in advance.


Start: 17 Feb 2012, 8.25bpel x 4.92mseg; bpfsl=??; fl=6.5x4.5

Current: 29 April 2013, 8.875bpel x 5.8mseg; bpfsl=9.25; fl=7x5

Goal: 9NBP x 6.25mseg and the best EQ ever!

Hours? most of the people is doing maximum 30- 40 min.

Try an extender or hanghing , i can’t imagine a person doing 2 hours stretching!!! :)

There’s a guy that gained roughly 1 inch in lenght in 4 months using 9 hours daily an extender and other manual tecniques(jelq etc).

By hours I was refering the total amount of stretching a day. I dont have access to an extender or a hanger, I may venture into those maybe next year.

If it’s money problem, we are on the same boat :S.

By the way i’m doing 40 min daily in 2 sessions, you can try 3 x30 min, i’ve tried 40 per session but it’s probably overkill.

I don’t know how the number came up but if you are talking hanging from what I read its 10hrs minimum per week. I guess everyone is different some take more time some take less. I do 6-8 sets of 20min hanging each set. about 2hs a day.

I hear you and thanks for the info, but I’m more concerned about info without the use of devices

A few years back I tried manual stretching for a few weeks but back then I use to get into PE then drop out after about a month. This time is the longest I have done PE 5-months straight.

When I did manual stretching I use to do
3-sets of 10min fowler stretches and 5min of manual stretching
twice a day once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

I didn’t make any gains because I never kept up with it.

I have found a limiting factor to be hand fatigue. I work construction and have alot of hand strength, but stretching your dick is demanding. I was doing 2-3 minute stretches adding up to 20 minutes, 3 times a day. My hands couldn’t take it. I also saw negetive PI’s at that level, and actually lost the signs of fatigue for signs of overstress.

Also, I know you said no devices, but for me the ADH seemed to unlock or at least cement gains. I did it wrong too, with a homemade device that induced to much jarring and could cause negative PI’s. Looking back over after my last break(de-con, whatever) I attribute most gains to the ADH since I was doing haphazard manual stretches with no heat.

I think you’ll find a maximum time you can stretch manually on your own, the question is, at what force and angles? I am still trying to decide if sustained fatigue, like you feel it when you cough in the morning, is productive, or overstressed. And why does the soreness suddenly go away, with added force not sustaining it?
