Average penis size coverup

Nah, I read the full text of the study that is listed as “8” on my list there (the penis-size average thread). Still, I plead guilty…

I would says 5.5 inches NBP is about average. I mean sure they probly lower the average a little to make kids feel better. It is school… they want kids happy… plus you cant really find the true average.

Yep. That’s why I don’t even respond anymore, just skip right over it.

:)

I find it quite amusing, and astonishing, how much men will argue about an inch, or even half an inch!

Well, Motivated, considering that most men don’t gain much more than an inch from PE, I think that says something about our mental well-being :nodding:

This is funny, but still very sad at the same time.

Get a good reading of your BP measurement, start reading on PE, and get growing. Try not to mind penis size-surveys if you can’t handle the psychological weight! :p

As I specified here, I read the full text of another study (#8 in my list) that specified that the Wessells study’s 5-inch figure was bone-pressed.

In any case, looking across all the studies, I would agree that 5” is closer to the NBP average — for Americans, anyway — than it is to the BP average.

I first saw the details in a link provided by sprintman in this thread:

/forum/showthre … ?t=10032&page=5

It was in post #72. However, now the link took me to something that doesn’t look familiar and I couldn’t find the clearly explained study and detailed chart of Wessells. Notice in post # 73 beowulf states they are nbp, which includes Wessells. In post # 74, I roughly convert to inches, and in post #76 I’m more precise coming up with 6 3/16 (just short of 6 1/4).

I now notice that sprintman’s # 71 post was to a site thread that also looked at Wessells study. I somehow missed that link the first time I think-I don’t recall seeing it back then. CharlieBear converts the measurements, and toward the the bottom of the page states that functional length plus fat pad was 6.20 (also just short of 6 1/4).

Wessells study was very clearly explained as to what he did and clearly charted. I searched google some just now, but didn’t find it in complete detail like I’ve seen before.

The only thing I think I disagree with in CharlieBear’s thread is the statement flaccid and erect were virtually the same. I really think the Wessells study showed the erect length as 1/4” longer than flaccid stretched length, but I could be mistaken. If I’m correct, 1/4” was considered about the same by CharlieBear (or whoever stated that). Pre pe my erect length was longer. PE has reversed that.

It could be the 1/4” difference was in another study. At any rate, I’m certain that 5.1 was nbp in Wessells’ study.

Edit: Just looked at CharlieBear’s thread again and I now see the erect length was .17 inches longer. Not .25

Thanks beenthere, I’ll look into this later. I asked because I want to ensure that that thread I have is as accurate as possible.

What are you saying? That we can’t expect 2-4” gains in our first 6 months?

(:

Lol, I read a study measuring 2000 college males where the average NBPEL was 4.25.. Which is a depressingly low average, so I can only assume that they weren’t fully erect or something of the sort..

MTV flashed a bubble in one of their spring break show that stated that the avg erect length was 4.75.. Again.. I doubt that this was correct

But thats all the info I have to contribute on the subject

Yea, what am I saying? I really want that extra inch! I mean, I’d much prefer an extra two inches. But I really want that extra first one inch. So, yes, one inch is important from that perspective.

But I still find the obsession with the “average” penis length a bit sad. After all, it’s only a statistical average; it does not mean that any particular woman you sleep with is going to find six inches, or whatever this mysterious statistical average is, to be the norm. The norm for her may be five inches or four inches, or it may be seven inches or eight inches or more.
