Avatar images

I’m having problems getting an avatar image to load here. First it was because the size was to big, that was my mistake so now I’m trying to load pictures that are under 100 X 100 pixels. I’ve tried to load 15 different pictures every time I try it says “the uploaded file is not a valid GIF, JPG, or PNG file. Please ensure that it is and try again”. Is there a site that has images that work on this site or do I have to change the file somehow? They were all jpg images by the way that I found doing a google search.

Goal, it may be that you don’t have enough days here yet. You have the posts, but you also have to have your 14 days. And since I don’t know the day you joined, that could be the reason. Give it another week and try again, just make sure that the avatar you choose for yourself follows the guidelines. I hate to see avatars denied because they violate guidelines.

I’m having the exact same problem as Goal. It says “the uploaded file is not a valid GIF, JPG, or PNG file”, however when I look at the properties of the picture that I try to upload, it is always .jpg! I change the size to 100 x 100 as well. Can someone please PM me with help? Much appreciated!

Have you tried saving the picture as a GIF?
