Well, tie me to a horse and spank it; I got gains. Girth gains, to be more specific. A nice .5 centimeters. Well: nice-ish.

See, they’ve stacked on to my mid shaft. I like them there, I hope they like to be there to, but I’d also like to see a more uniform growth. My shaft used to be 12.5 cm all along, but now the middle is starting to bulge. In other words I either need to correct my routine somehow, or I need to add exercises that work the base and the head specifically.

Let’s say I need the former: Any tips? Nothing heavy, though; I’m trying to stay on this side of enough - I’ve been teetering on the other side too much as is.

Thankful for anything. Also: I got gains!

Nothing gives you the gumption to keep going like actually seeing gains! Feels great, doesn’t it?

I have found that constantly adjusting the workout is needed to compensate for the different growth phases. I had a period where I would feel the “baseball bat” effect starting to develop. I adjusted by holding the base tight against me with one hand while jelqing with the other - then switching hands. That worked very well and also helped a bit with the slight turkey neck I was developing.

I guess I look at it as molding play-doh (very slow to work play-doh though) - when you’re rolling it into a snake and one end starts getting too big, you need to move to the other end. Same thing with PE - change the force and area of the stroke to compensate for over-working one area.

Would you elaborate? I’m having a hard time picturing this.

So, most people jelq - right hand, left hand, right, left… I do that too, but more often, I will do this: make a V hold with my left hand (V being holding my dick between the index and middle finger) at the base of my dick. While holding this position, I think it is important to pull back the turkey neck skin to make the lower shaft skin taught as I progress. I then engorge my dick by doing several light jelqs with my right hand. Then I jelq (usually a dry jelq and for me performed in the shower for some slipperyness) with my right hand only for 5-15 repetitions until my right hand begins to tire.

Then switch. Hold the base with my right hand - skin and turkey neck tight - fingers making sure the base skin stays immobile. Left hand jelqs for 5-15 reps and then switch again.

Same thing as jelqing, but using the free hand to hold the base skin in place for several repetitions. Then switch.

I *think* this helps with keeping the overall jelq more consistent. It works for me very well and I hope I’m explaining it right…

Tried to try it, but I don’t know if I got it right. It’s essentially a dry jelq where the fingers at the base keep you from gripping the base, and so “stealing” blood from there - Or am I totally off the track?

Yes Bullet, I think you’re on track. I have never done them like onenekkidguy (although his idea is a damn good one, if for nothing else but to prevent turkey neck development….Though I like my baseball bat penis), but I understand what he is saying and it sounds like you have it down. But you’re not so much “stealing blood” as you are preventing the base from becoming engorged from the pressure your jelqing hand is generating, as the pressure from the jelqing hand is directed mostly from point of contact forward, to the tip of your glans. By having your index and middle finger making a V at the base, you’re prevent focal pressure expansion of the base.

But don’t I want pressure at the base in order to increase girth? I mean, that’s what for an example jelqing does; Increases blood pressure, and so making the tissue want to let in more blood.

I think you’ve got it right, but go back to my comment about play-doh. I think my method just helps change it up a bit so you’re not putting the same stresses on the same places. It is targeting the last two-thirds of the shaft though. I would put my concentration on this for a while and then target the base for a few weeks.

For the base, I tend to make sure there is enough blood in the shaft to give it weight (I guess a full “chubby”) and then jelq. When I start the stroke with each hand, I dig into the pelvis to grab as much inner penis as I can and jelq from there - concentrating the most force at the beginning of the stroke and letting up as I reach the middle (assuming I’m targeting base and want to lay off the mid-section).

If you can find a way to target the first and last third of the shaft without including the middle section, I’d love to hear it. Targeting the last third with some sessions and the first third with others is just the way that works for me.

Sorry, I should have described this half at the beginning to avoid confusion. The analogy of play-doh seems to work for me though since it really does come close to what we’re doing!

OK, I think I finally got it. The part about letting go as you move down the shaft seems to make lots of sense too. I’ll try it out next session. Assuming I remember - I’m always so forgetful.

On the play-doh: Building on the same idea, I’ve tried to apply my squeezes so they put pressure where I feel like I want it that session. So now I’ve mostly been trying to get it into the base, and it seems to do the trick. Won’t know until next time I measure, though.
