Assessing the risks of PE

Assessing the risks of PE

Ok, I’ve been doing a lot of the reading as I am new to PE. I started the newbie routine three weeks ago and I plan on continuing but I have a few questions for some of the more informed and longer members of this forum.

I’m currently 5.8x4 with a slight upwards curve. I have no problems with my length because I’m a fairly short dude but I feel like my girth is lacking and that’s what I’m mainly doing PE for. My question is whether or not doing PE exercises will change the curvature of my penis and take away the desirable upward curve?

Also, I know injuries are a part of PE, but I want to know if anybody has sustained any permanent damage from PE exercises? I know it’s supposed to make your dick bigger and healthier, but I’ve read horror stories on here where people’s erection quality has declined, as well as their size lost, or have had long lasting ED from PE exercises. What are the chances of this happening? What are some of the warning signs that I’m doing something wrong? Is the loss of erection quality or the strength of erections a side effect of PE as the ligaments gets stretched from the body?

At what point is it beneficial to do PE? I can admit, I’ve always had my penis insecurities and that’s part of the reason I started.. But who doesn’t want a bigger/healthier member? But from reading around, it almost seems like the risks of a non-working member or worse then a pencil dick? Can someone tell me the actual risks versus rewards?

Thank you very much for helping a newb out.

There are those that have tried to even out a curve by jelqing against it, but they are usually left/right bends, you shouldn’t have any cause to lose your upward curve from PE.

Wrong - they don’t have to be. Sure, there are risks which increase the more advanced and extreme you choose to take your routines, but injuries are not a prerequisite. Pay close attention to how your penis reacts as you practice new exercises, and don’t rush. The vast majority of PE injuries are down to impatience and poor research.

Good luck.

Yes, some guys have sustained permanent injuries from doing PE. A few of them may have been extremely unfortunate, (there is risk involved with PE, as is made clear reading the newbie threads), but most of the rest probably did things we constantly say never to do; erect stretching, 100% erect jelqing, clamping too early or without enough knowledge etc.etc.

Much reading is advised; however, done sensibly, the risks are small and the rewards large.

You are unlikely to lose your upwards curve unless you try to.

Aim to achieve maximum penile health for the first three months of PE, and work on size after that. Using that methodology, you will probably also maximize your size gains in the first three months, as you will work within your positive PI’s. :)

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

Don’t get rid of the curve! women like it-I would gladly take an upward curve.

I’ve been doing PE exercises for years on and off, and my upward curve has remain the same.

PE won’t make your curve disappear.

Injuries are a part of PE in the same way that burning to death is part of being a fireman. If you have common sense and you are aware when your penis is screaming “Please, oh god, no!”, there’s no reason for you to injure yourself.

Yes, there are signs. They are called PIs (Physiological Indicators). Search function is your friend :) .

As I said, there is no reason to injure yourself if you are careful. Most of the people here benefit a lot from PE, and it is completely safe as long as you don’t exaggerate… It will probably even make your erection and stamina better.
Yes, there are horror stories now and then, just like there are amazing stories about guys growing 2” in 8 months… But the vast majority of us use PE to get better confidence, and build our penis the way we want it. It is possible, and totally realistic.
So just start with the Newbie Routine, and discuss any problem you have here in the forums.

Best of luck! :)

PE isn't a chore. PE is a lifestyle.

If you feel down sometimes, come live inside my mind. I promise you'll enjoy the experience.

For some reason my penis when erect now sticks out to the left. It has also lost a lot of hardness that it used to have. I’m not sure if I’ve caused damage to a suspensory ligament or something but I stopped jelqing for a good 4 months or so to see if it would heal and it hasnt. I never went over the top with my stretches or anything so I’m pretty confused as to why it happened.

HOWEVER, I met somebody on this site who had the same problem who claims he managed to straighten it out again. Through PM’s he gave me some advice on what to do and I’m gonna try see if I can sort it out this way.

I was extremely cautious too. So cautious that I lurked for a year before starting pe.

The bottom line — I like my penis. It has given me and selected others hours of fun, pleasure and entertainment. Why in the world would I want to hurt it?

Eventually from reading and researching and listening to the vets (kingpole, sparkyx, androNYC, lampwick, gprent and countless others) that you can do PE and keep your penis safe. And make it bigger and healthier.

Here’s what I learned:

— do a newbie routine for three months — it will teach you about your penis and how much you can exercise it without overdoing it
— use lots of heat
— take it slow. PE is a marathon, not a sprint. Don’t try to rush things and make gains overnight. That’s how injuries happen
— if it hurts, DON’T DO IT!
— take days off to recover
— listen to your body.

Drilla already pointed you to Sparkyx’s excellent Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to help growth!

Let me also recommend his Warning! If you haven’t gotten improved erections:

Personally I’d recommend starting out with a lighter routine than the standard newbie.

Take a look at this thread if you haven’t already seen it:
