Arginine - how to get the max of it

I take L-Arginine powder for a couple of days now, but I’m not sure if I use it the most efficient way. I use it as recommended on the box 2 x 3000 mg daily. One before I go to sleep and one around lunch. I think a higher dose right before sleep would be better. Any opinions on this or how (often and much) do you take it?

I had some trouble a few months ago owing to over-zealous pumping and a poor diet. Thanks to Avocet 8’s wisdom I begun seeing my morning woods again. His advice to me was as follows and it worked perfectly within a week.I quote him : “To kick start morning wood, try supplementing with 1500 mg of plain, old L-arginine, 500 mg three times a day on an empty stomach, the last dose at bedtime. May take a week or two to work. “

Well better sex drive and harder morning wood are good side effects but mainly I’m interested in it’s ability to increase blood flow and release growth hormones.

Take in empty stomach.

I think 3gr/day is enaugh BTW.

Unfortunately most of the people (~80%) have oral herpes (HSV1) and the virus will be in dormant state most of the time. Decreased immunity and even stress can trigger the virus and consumption of L-Arg aggravates outbreaks as the virus do very well with L-Arg.

I take that at 1/2 the suggested serving (1.5grams) right before bed and it is hella effective for improving vascularity. When I lift my muscles feel like there gonna rip out of my skin. It also gives you some very vivid dreams. The reason you can run it at such a lower dose than any other arginine is because of the esterfication.

Please have a look into this and let us see what sense we can make of this, thank you.
