Are girth gains permanent?

I seem to have read a lot of threars that oppose each other. I’m specifically asking in regards to clamping.

It seems to me lots of people say girth gains from clamping are just swelling and go away after a while? Is this true? Are there anyways to combat this?

Length is coming easily for me, and it looks like I will be struggling with girth down the road doing just manuals, so eventually I want to move into clamping or pumping

You will always read contradictory opinions and anecdotes in PE. That’s the nature of the game. Completely opposite approaches to enlargement have worked fantastically well for different guys. Give up the search for a one-size-fits-all PE nirvana. You have to make your own, personal nirvana, if you can.

So, yes, girth enlargement is permanent. And, no it isn’t. Now wasn’t that easy?

P.S. At least some of the girth work tends to be permanent in most guys who work at it long enough with the right kind of exercises targeting that kind of expansion. Individual responses just vary so much as to be really frustrating when trying to figure out a plan of attack. So just hang in there and give things time to work or not work, and remain flexible in your thinking about PE techniques.

It’s permanent for sure. I haven’t lost anything over the years.

I was kind of worried about the same thing early on, but what I found was that as I got nearer my length goals that my girth increased also. So girth gains for me came along with the ride. I avoided doing any girth work while I was doing my length exercises because when I did, it would mess up my hanger settings. I would get such quick results off of clamping or especially using Wantsmore”s fulcrums that I had to avoid them altogether.

Mine are. Got from pumping.

Clamping does not work for me. Very harsh. Does nothing but wreck my EQ.

Pumping is a pretty gentle exercise.

I have taken years off from PE and not lost anything that was cemented.


Start: (Aug 2001): 6 1/2 bpel x 4 7/8 mseg

Current: (6/24/14): 7 3/4 bpel (7 nbp) x 5 5/8 mseg. BEG 6 1/4. BPFSL 8 1/8.

Goals: First: 7 1/2 bpel x 5 1/2 mseg ACHIEVED! Current Goal: 7 nbp x 5 3/4 mseg (almost there!)

I gained .75” in EG and haven’t lost any.

What caused your gains in girth? I’ve heard that clamping is just swelling and it goes away but I’ve read the contrary as well.

‘Immediate’ apparent gains from clamping will go away, just as they do with pumping, but with a consistent routine you will gain girth, if clamping suits you. It doesn’t suit everyone as sta said. So the ‘swelling’ goes away, but tissue expansion happens over time.

And it is permanent as long as you still get regular erections that max out your size, or do occasional jelqing which ensures that you take the tissues to full expansion. (I add that because if someone suffers from severe ED and goes for very long periods without getting a hard erection, the penis will shrink a little, regardless of what PE has been done in the past, or even if no PE has ever been done.)

Ahh thanks firegoat. I understand what you mean about ‘immediate’ girth gains and then ones derived from consistancy.

Are immediate girth gains(swelling) just like an erection though? Or is the tissue softer because its just swelling?

What I mean to say is the swelling beneficial to girth in your sex life.

Temporary girth gains are USEABLE if you use it before it goes down. Something to consider.

The girth I gained from clamping (pretty much accidentally) seems to be permanent.

What you will see is by using multiple sets within a short time that your going to get expansion and that expansion is what your really after. It will over time become your new girth but tunica structures are tough to change permanently. Not that it doesn’t occur but needs to be repeated often for change to take place.

Typically about the 3rd set of my routine I’ll set a 1/4” expansion.

I wish there was a way to maintain that expansion on a lower scale like we do by using an ADS after hanging but there just isn’t a good way to do that. If a guy can devote sets throughout his day for many days then I think that is when you’ll see big time results. For the rest of us it’s just going to take longer.

Clamping as opposed to pumping is not swelling like pumping. Pumping brings fluid into the dermal layers and is reabsorbed when the vacuum is removed but clamping is different. The expansion is from the inside and is pressure caused as opposed to vacuum caused. Vacuum causes expansion from the outside whereas clamping is internal pressure to the outside. All the internal chambers that collect blood for expansion are enlarged.

I wish someone would come up with a way to clamp and pump at the same time. Boy would we have a girth growing system then. I can see girls getting split all over this country.

Clamp/constrict in a pump(I did it in the BM)?

What I do atm is alternating clamping and pumping in one session.
