Anyone successfully tackled premature ejaculation

Hi guys

I realise this isn’t a penis enlargement post, but I know there are some knowledgeable guys on here and maybe even some who have got through it themselves

I’ve tried a penis numbing ointment (Chinese brush) and that worked very well so I’m thinking this is more a sensitivity issue rather than mental?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, takes a big toll on my life

I know it sounds like a load of crap, but focusing on slow, deep breaths has taken me from 3 minutes to 20 minutes and beyond.

If you know the newbie routine for PE on these forums, you would have came across what is called kegel exercises.

Kegel exercises can prevent ejaculation when you kegel and these exercise can strengthen ejaculation too. When you kegel the penis also fills up with blood and gets harder. Kegels are also said to improve erection quality. Women also can do kegels, their main effectiveness is for tightening their holes. If you plan on doing kegel exercising make sure your targeting the right muscles and not just working out your abs or anus muscles. You may also want to practice control.

I think kegels were one of the exercises that made my PE worse! Feel like I’m constantly tensed down there during intercourse which may be speeding up for fast I climate, I don’t know.

I was not exactly premature, but I would sometimes cum before I was ready, or to uses one of the definitions in the literature, unexpectedly. I basically decide I was going to crack it no matter what. Whenever I had sex, I would just slow down when I got too near the point of no return (PONR). Then, when the urge subside, I would speed up again. Sometimes I would even have to stop and pull out. I got complaints from the person underneath me! But I was on a mission :D

Eventually, I achieved almost total control. I say almost, because it’s still always possible to get carried away, but that’s probably a good thing, and can actually make the woman think she must have blown your mind if you can normally last - no matter what she might throw at you :)

I have communicated with quite a few guys on this subject, both in threads, PMs and in r/l. A common theme that comes across is that most of these guys, especially the younger ones, are in a hurry. The standard advice given by sexologists on overcoming p.e. is to become aware of your arousal level. If you watch very closely, the next time you have a p.e. experience, you will see that ejaculation comes unexpectedly. It comes “out of the blue” because, you are not fully aware of your arousal level. As you gain awareness, you will naturally adjust your tempo, and for most people, that is a enough. I could write more, but that is the gist of it.

Absolutely I have. I have been doing it seriously for the past 7-8 months and it has done wonders for me. I am not at the point of total control over my ejaculation but I am at the point of being able to last as long as I need to most times.

I agree. Focus on your breathing and you can last a lot longer. My problem is when I start going hard it just comes real fast. Focusing on breathing and hammering away is a little difficult but its worth the try. I’ll also look into that post myself, thank you!
