I have one, and just got the thought that it could be a great idea. Do some stretches, or even hanging. Shouldn’t the warm/hot water let you stretch more?

A hot bath or jacuzzi is an excellent way to warm up (the very best, IMO). Water interferes with getting a good grip for stretching while wet, but the skin tackiness remaining after drying off is helpful.

I’ve never tried hanging under water, but I doubt it would work very well. In addition to limiting your wrapping material options, you wouldn’t be able to easily monitor temperature changes during your hanging sets. That’s a big negative, IMO. You really need to keep up with what’s going on at all times.

Also, I’ve found that fluid buildup is far worse for me with constant heat applied when using any PE technique that builds internal pressure or applies a vacuum. When you hang conventionally and use a relatively focused heat source such as a rice sock, heating pad, or even an IR light, the parts most prone to building excessive fluid (the frenulum area) are not being heated. In a bath the whole shebang is given constant heat, so I’d expect skin swelling there would shut my hanging session down prematurely. Your mileage may vary.

Hobby, you bring up some interesting concerns, particularly your point about not being able to monitor circulation/temperature while hanging.

That said, I like stretching in the bath after warming up, because it makes jelqing afterward amazing, as my cock is nice and warm and stretched out.

I grip using my thumb, index, and middle fingers. I basically clamp the base of my shaft with my thumb going between my index and middle fingers. I get a decent grip, but on a search I just did, I read that using a face cloth for the grip is helpful. I will try that today.

Also, remember that Archimede’s principle applies - the weight lessens with the volume that is displaced, so your weight on land is actually less in the hot tub.
