Any specific routine for newbies on PC Flexes/Kegels

Hey guys. :)

I’m just wondering if there are any routines out there for newbies on PC Flexes and Kegels?

I’m thinking about doing them sometime at night and start off with 50 flexes with a 5 second hold on each. Then every week adding 5 reps to that.

How does this sound?

As a side note, I don’t know when anyone here does them but I used to do them right after a PE session but was recommended not to. I think this makes sense because then my PE sessions would run quite long. Am I right on that?

Listen to your body - it’s possible to cause fatigue doing kegal exercises and drop EQ as a result of them. Make sure you get plenty of rest days. I personally doi my kegals whilst I pump and have not noticed any negative effects from this.

I think its fine. Some guys do thousands of kegels.

However, I would rather do less reps & do something like towel raises. For now I’m still doing regular kegels & I don’t do them daily (I agree with the poster above that your pelvic floor muscles need rest from time to time).

I heard about reverse kegels. How do you do them? Should I also do these as a beginner or later on?

Also, when do I know when I am “advanced” in kegels?
