Any benefits to V grip?

Any benefits to V grip?

Is there any benefit of V grip notwithstanding the fact there is less stress on the hand? I’m doing BTC stretches mainly. I have trouble getting it, feels uncomfortable. On the inverse OK grip works fine because I have strong hands that aren’t going to get tired in 20 odd minutes of stretching.

I assume you are referring to jelqing. I tried the v grip back in my PEGYM days. It was too difficult and didn’t feel natural to me. Have you tried the pinch grip? I personally think the end result is the same but you have more control over pressure distribution this way.

No, this for my stretches. Primarily seated BTC with some movement and a little V-ing for around 20 minutes total in 6-10 sets or so.

Beside the less fatigue, the advantage of the V grip should be less stress on the frenulum. You have to be pretty long to be able to do BTC stretches with the V grip though. If the ok grip works better for you go for it.
