I’ve been lurking around here for a while, and I thought I might as well jump in with both feet now and start contributing to this place in some way. (And yes, I was - and still am - a little apprehensive about writing this first post, but please bear with me…)

I’d like to hear your views on some questions I have:

1. I’ve been PEing for about a month or so now. My routine consists of 5/10 minutes’ hot towel warm-up (depending on how much warmth my penis needs to feel relaxed enough to start exercising), then 5 minutes’ manual stretching, 200 jelqing strokes, and 5/10 minutes’ hot towel warm-down to end. (I had started out a month ago with 100 jelqing strokes, but increased it recently for a more intense workout.) Is this a good routine to be doing at this point in time?

2. In the month I have been PEing, I have not noticed any gains. Is it wise not to think about gaining yet? Some people here have had gains within a month of starting - should I have expected the same?

3. When I first began manual stretching, I felt a deep stretch coming from below the base of my penis, which I assumed to be my ligaments stretching. (Is this correct?) Anyway, nowadays, I do not feel that deep stretch. Should I be feeling it by now, or is there a point by which you can expect your ligaments not to stretch any more? Can stretching increase your length even if your ligaments aren’t being stretched any more?

4. I have not been blessed with a large member (otherwise, let’s face it, I wouldn’t be here), but I have adapted the jelqing technique to something that appears to suit me (and thus, I think would appeal to less well-endowed guys) more. I’m only 4.5” NBPEL (5” BPEL) and 5” EG, and I have taken to what I currently like to call “One-Handed” jelqing. I do this by gripping the base of my penis lightly with one hand, and then jelqing normally with the other. I do 100 strokes this way before switching hands and completing the other 100 strokes with the other hand. I feel this adaptation allows me to get nearer to the base of my penis, because I usually can’t go very near there due to my length. My questions here are: is this a good technique? And do you think it will work as well, in the long run, as normal jelqing?

Apologies for the large amount of questions here, but I felt as if it would be better to get all my questions out here in one go, rather than waiting and risking forgetting what I was going to ask.

This is a really great community of people, by the way, and I feel proud to be here. As I said before, I’m still a little nervous about being here, but I’m sure it will pass in time.

I neglected to mention (silly me), that I also do kegels. I’ve been doing them for about a year now, and I do them while not PEing (because it helps me concentrate on the exercises more if I don’t). I do them whenever I can though - that’s the beauty of nobody being able to tell that you’re doing them!

Great to have you here Ash.. Your routine sounds like a good one and you are warming up prior to starting the manuals. Some guys just get gains faster then others.. I for one have gained very little in size however my erection quality difference is night and day. I’ve read many reports here and at other forums that some people experience gains after a rest period while others start to see some gains at around the 3rd to 4th month mark… I’ve been around the boards for a few years and know that the odds are in your favor that you will indeed get those gains you are after.. Have you attempted any pumping?

I have not attempted any pumping as of yet, but I do admit that the idea intrigues me. I’ve always wondered about how some of you guys get massive gains from pumping - but I’ll also admit that while I am intrigued, pumping also seems kinda, well… scary to me. It sounds stupid, I know, but I don’t want to cause any damage to myself, and especially not to one of the most loved parts of my body (which already works very well, despite its size)! Vacuum suction just sounds like something that can be quite damaging if done incorrectly, and I don’t want that to happen, so that’s the main reason I’m deciding to hold off until I know more about it. Are there any videos available?

Another thing that is currently putting me off pumping is that while I’m currently at university, I live at home (with the parents) and commute into uni when I need to. I do not know yet whether there is any way to discreetly order a pumping kit in the UK (or make one myself) - and then try to hide it from the parents. (They do pry a lot and ask a lot of leading questions sometimes, but parents will be parents…) My bedroom is the place where the boiler closet and water heater are housed, so I don’t get much privacy there - but thank goodness for the bathroom! (I’ll have to be cunning on this one, I think… Do you have any ideas as to how to keep pumping apparatus away from people who shouldn’t know about it?)

I know that pumping engorges the penis with blood and lymphatic fluid, but shouldn’t the penis only engorge with blood during an erection - or does it engorge with lymph as well? (Maybe I need to revisit some biology textbooks…) Is engorging the penis with that much lymph dangerous, or out-of-the-ordinary? (I don’t know much at all about pumping, as you’ve probably guessed by now.)

Regarding what you said about erection quality, RWG: ever since starting PE (and doing those awesome warm-ups and warm-downs), my circulation to that area has improved a whole lot. My erections stay harder for longer, and they just feel so much fuller and meatier, and are more impressive to look at. So, even if I do not get any size gains from PE, at least I have gained the ability to have better circulation, and much better erections.

Random tangent: I love those warm-ups! Honestly, they feel so good! There are times when I have started warming up, and have said to myself, “Should I even do the exercises today? I could just keep warming up for hours…”

Good show Ash! Pumping at low HG’s (2-4 range) is both safe and most certainly feels good…


Welcome to the forum. You have a good base routine and you are already seeing some level of gains. You should start seeing flaccid gains first and then move on the erect permanent gains. You are already seeing some of the benefits of PE because you said “My erectgions stay harder for longer…” Thats great already.

Keep up the good work and do lots of reading. There is a shit ton to learn around here.

Ah, contraband. I’ve had various things in my room that I wouldn’t want my mother to find over the years, and the only advice I can give you is to not hide anything you wouldn’t want to be found.

Unfortunately, due to being a university student, I do not have a lot of money right now. I don’t have a job either, so there’s no way of getting extra money in unless I skip lunch, or save up my extra change from travelling costs, or get money from people (instead of presents) for my birthday or Christmas.

I have found a pump that apparently will do what I want it to. (For those that are interested, this pump is the one I’m looking at.) It’s £40 with a ball pump and no pressure gauge, but I’m going to spend a bit more time saving up and go for the trigger pump and pressure gauge option, which will tack on another £20 to the price. The length of the pump, at 8 inches, is more than adequate for me right now, but the only thing that’s holding me back on making the decision for this one is that I do not know the diameter or circumference of the tube.

What kind of gains are available from pumping? I looked around a bit on the site I linked above, and I found a page that states that pumping only increases your length by about 1” or 15% of your starting size, and that the gains are not permanent. Is this true? (I’ll find pumping a bit useless if I can’t gain much from it, and of course, I don’t like wasting money since it doesn’t come my way very often.)

I’ve looked at RWG’s pictures in his signature, and I sometimes wonder whether I’ll be lucky enough to even get halfway to where he is…

Good to see more newbies coming out of the woodwork.

I can’t comment on pumping as I have never tried it, but I wouldn’t bother doing anything other than manual exercises for a while.
They are cheap and the majority of guys here have gained using them, myself included.
If after 2 or 3 months you saw no noticeable difference, then I would look at maybe trying pumping or hanging. Give the manual exercises a fair go and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Well, since I don’t have the money to buy the pump right now (and I’m not likely to have that kind of money until after Christmas), then I’ll be continuing the manual exercises for at least a few months or so, until such time as I can get a pump for myself - sometime in January or February of next year seems to be the most likely time for me to get one.

With that said, I’m quite sure I can get some pretty decent gains if I work at manual exercises (before starting to pump), simply because of one day last week when I gave myself an erection after doing some jelqing. Honestly, that day, my penis felt like it went from 5” EG to 6” EG all in the space of a workout! (They were only temporary gains, I know, but I was rather pleasantly surprised by this temporary development - and I’d not be telling the full truth if I didn’t also say that I was somewhat proud of myself!!)
